My 22-year-old son has been seeing this endocrinologist since January. He has had three consultations, two diagnostic scans, numerous paid blood tests (including hormonal panels), and even a 24-hour monitoring device. Despite all of this, we still have not received any diagnosis, explanation, or treatment plan for his episodes of high blood pressure. When we asked for a referral for a CT scan at Afedea, we were told we had to pay for yet another visit, even though no progress had been made for months.
