I would like to write a review for Dr. Sarah Hough. I have known her for 8 years, and she has always been incredibly kind and caring. She takes her time to thoroughly examine you and truly listens, which makes a big difference. She is very attentive and compassionate—my son absolutely adores her. The reception staff are also very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dedicated and wonderful doctor. Thank you for putting so much love into your work ❤️🙏
I have been going to Cork City Medical Centre for a number of years. I saw Dr. Susan and Dr. Sarah. Can't recommend them enough. I always felt listened to and never rushed. The reception staff are also very friendly and helpful.
I had a very upsetting experience with Dr. David. I brought my 9-month-old baby in with a fever of 38°C, and despite being the only person waiting in the clinic, the doctor chose to leave without seeing us.
As a parent, this felt extremely distressing and unprofessional. A baby with a fever should never be ignored, especially when there were no other patients waiting.
I felt that my child’s care was neglected, and I cannot recommend this doctor based on this experience.
Very disappointing and concerning experience.
I brought my girlfriend to this GP after she had been suffering from a high fever for several days and was taking large amounts of paracetamol daily just to manage it. The doctor did not carry out any proper examination and simply said it was an viral. No medication was prescribed, and we were told to continue with paracetamol.
The very next day, her condition worsened significantly. Her fever reached 39°C and her face became severely swollen. We managed to find a dentist in Glanmire who agreed to see her urgently. The dentist diagnosed a gum infection and provided the necessary treatment immediately. We were told that if we had waited any longer, the situation could have become much more serious.
It is extremely concerning that this was not identified earlier. This experience was stressful, frightening, and completely avoidable. I expect medical professionals to take symptoms like persistent high fever seriously and to conduct proper examinations before dismissing them.
This matter will not be ignored, and I will be taking further steps to ensure accountability.
I am a patient of Dr. Conor and he was extremely attentive of the patient’s needs, when there was difficulty drawing bloods from me (which has always been the case for me, due to my veins) he was very careful and thoughtful throughout the process and always made sure I was okay. I felt safe and reassured because in my previous experiences I was just being blamed. He also explained well about my condition when I asked him about it. The receptionist, I don’t know her name but they were always very kind and tried to accommodate me, maybe also because I had more serious medical concern. Overall, I’m really glad I found this GP.
I am a patient of Doctor Sara. I find her brilliant. She gives you time , not rushing you out. She's also a great doctor. Receptionists also great, for organising appointments. I highly recommend this practice.
Today, I went to this GP for the first time since moving to Ireland. Dr. Sarah Hough conducted my consultation. I was nervous since it was my first time, but she welcomed me with great kindness, addressed my concerns, and provided all the necessary information clearly and accurately.
My partner also accompanied me, and after the consultation, I felt so relieved to have had the chance to see her with my partner by my side.
I think she is, by far, one of the most wonderful people I’ve met in Ireland.
The receptionist was also very clear, friendly, and made a great impression as well.
I have been a patient for many years and I'm absolutely delighted with the service.
I've been seriously ill but also had minor little things and I've always been treated with such professionalism. The receptionists, of which one is Tara, are a delight to deal with, if there is anything that doesn't require me to go in for, like repeat prescription or similar they deal with it and send them to my pharmacy, never had to call twice for anything. I get they could come across as gate keeping to other patients but they don't want to waste any ones time, doc or patients. I've got a great relationship with Dr Sara, she always listens intently, never moves me along during the appointment.
