I attended Sisu Limerick for Botox treatment on Saturday, 16 May, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing.
The entire appointment lasted approximately 90 seconds and felt incredibly rushed and transactional. I understand aesthetics is a business, but it is still a medical procedure that requires proper care, attention, and professionalism.
When I questioned how quickly the treatment was completed, I was met with arrogance rather than reassurance. I was told that “when you’ve been injecting for 14 years, it’s quick.” I was also assured I would have no bruising.
By Monday, my eyes began to feel unusually heavy. By Tuesday, both eyelids had become noticeably droopy, to the point where colleagues commented that I looked “sad.” As of 20 May, the needle marks are still visible.
The outcome was distressing enough that I sought help from a different Sisu doctor to correct the work. Thankfully, she was absolutely fantastic. Kind, caring, professional, and understanding. She has now started a dissolving process less than a week after the original treatment, which is incredibly disappointing and upsetting.
The experience affected my confidence so much that I even cut a fringe to try and hide the result.
I would strongly encourage more care, consultation, and professionalism during treatments, especially when patients raise concerns.
*UPDATE*
I got talking to call centre on Friday 22nd. She made note of my concerns and said the medical director would review it and give me a call on Monday 25th. It is now Thursday 28th and no call has been received.
I had my Botox treatment with Dr. Olha Davydenko at Susi Clinic in Limerick, and I highly recommend her! She is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. The procedure was so gentle that I barely felt anything at all. I am very happy with the results, you can trust her expertise completely!
I had treatment today and I’m already seeing results — I’m so happy with how it looks!
Dr. Sinqo and Megan were both amazing from start to finish. They made me feel completely at ease, explained everything clearly, and were so professional and welcoming throughout.

All the staff in SISU Limerick are amazing! The ladies on reception are so welcoming. Megan had some great tips regarding face masks and couldn’t have been more friendly. It’s great to walk in and feel so relaxed.
Dr Fahmy, I would highly recommend. With his expert knowledge as well as friendly conversation, the appointment just flows.
I have also had treatments with Dr. Sinqo and Dr. Ailbhe, and they are just as good. The only reason I’ve went to all three, is to suit when I’m available. If you’re looking to make an appointment and can get one with any of these experts, take it! I cannot recommend this clinic enough.
Dr. Lisa and Katelyn were absolutely wonderful! This is my fourth time back, and I’ve seen such great results each time. They were so friendly and welcoming, which instantly made me feel comfortable. I really appreciate how helpful and informative Lisa is — took time to explain everything clearly and make sure I felt comfortable and confident every step of the way. I received treatment from Doctor Aibhle and met the lovely Hailey, in the sisu clinic in limerick. This was my first time receiving any Botox or filler, Doctor Aibhle was amazing and put my mind at ease. The treatment I received was top notch, I am very happy with my immediate results from 2ml of filler and I'm looking forward to the Botox kicking in to get the full picture. I couldn't be happier with my experience, everyone was incredibly kind and patient-centered. As someone with social anxiety, I felt welcome and cared for in a judgement-free environment. The establishment is sanitary and modern, in addition, the staff are medical professionals with lots of experience and bubbly personalities that helped put me at ease throughout my proceedures. I Highly recommended and will definitely be returning! Dr. Ailbhe and Katelyn are absolutely precious.
