Sunday, my 2 kids were playing and my 4 year little one, he came up by crying with pain and we realized something with his wrist. Thanks finding an appointment, I drove them to Emergency. I was so panicked and afraid not sure what to do. By the very first moment, apologies for not remembering the names but the lady in the reception, with lovely color outfit, smile on her face, made us all comforted. She gave the kids stickers, had a lovely chat. After that we were invited by the nurse, omg she was so nice, I cannot tell how I felt with the way she was into the kids, talking the little one about his wrist and asked for things. Than she helped us to settle in a room and wait for the doctor, brough juice for kids and coloring stuff. I though I was in a private hospital, the room was super clean, and comfortable. After 10 mins, doctor came, she was both professional and friendly , mentioned his wrist off and in a second all was fixed :) I know we all have different experience for health services, I did have also but this one was for me surprisingly a great experience. Ultra clean, amazing stuff, the kids felt themselves pampered and all was sorted in an hour.
Attended CHI urgent care 28/12 with my 11 month old daughter. Such a positive experience. The staff were amazing so kind and caring. We were trialed quickly and saw a doctor within 30 mins after that. The compassion and care my daughter received was second to none. I woukd highly recommend.
We visited CHI Urgent care in Blanchardstown with our 3 year old. Everything was highly professional and clean. The nurse and the doctor were both kind and understanding. I was expecting long waiting in a crowded reception, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The hospital itself is great: clean, bright and kids friendly.
But that’s it. We had to wait 2 and a half hours to be seen. The doctor was not pleasant to deal with and I didn’t feel listened to. Quite rude to be honest and I couldn’t wait to leave that room!
I brought my 1yo child to CHI Connolly after she had been running a fever for several days and developed a white coating on her tongue. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing.
The consultant we saw was not very helpful and was unable to clearly explain the cause of the white tongue. When I asked whether it could be a fungal infection, I was told it was likely related to a viral infection, but without much certainty or further clarification.
Swab samples were taken, which were very uncomfortable and distressing for my child, yet we left without any results or a clear diagnosis and no treatment. In the meantime, my child continued to have a fever and struggled to eat for several more days due to the discomfort.
We then visited our GP, who immediately identified the issue as a fungal infection, prescribed appropriate treatment, and within 24 hours my child was feeling much better and able to eat again.
This experience has left me concerned about the level of assessment and communication we received, especially in a children’s hospital setting.
Absolutely brilliant. My son went for a blood test this morning and it couldn't have been easier, easy to park, lovely meet & great and the nurse was brilliant with my son.

Excellent experience in CHI today. The hospital staff were brilliant, extremely kind and informative. The building is state of the art, bright and colourful. Extremely welcoming for Children.
