I was suffering from chronic foot pain for some years and was eventually sent to the physiotherapist here who speaks English. Based off 100% of my other experiences with physiotherapists in and outside of Finland, I expected her to offer me some strengthening or stretching, maybe some massage... literally anything, but instead - and I say this as a total hippy myself - she gave me an hour-long lecture on how I use unsupportive language when referring to myself and how all of my problems would go away if I were to just speak to myself in more encouraging words. I'm all for the power of positivity, but no amount of positive self-talk is going to put my bones back where they belong (which turns out was the problem and I went to an osteopath and paid out of pocket to have this issue corrected). Recommended to pay privately at Tapanilan Urheilukeskus or Vilma Kaavi nearby than to waste your time here.
