The 10 best plastic surgery clinics in Istanbul
Published September 11, 2026
There is no shortage of plastic surgery in Istanbul — our catalogue counts the city’s plastic surgery clinics at close to a thousand, and most of them sit above 4.5 on Google. Putting this list together, the real problem turned out to be what the ranking itself was measuring.
This list answers one question: among the plastic surgery clinics in Istanbul rated 4.5 or better, which have the most patients behind them? The bar on each row below is that clinic’s review count as a share of the leader’s.
Why complexes hold the top of the list
Rank Istanbul’s plastic surgery clinics by review count and the top is held not by single-specialty surgical practices but by multi-specialty complexes: places running plastic surgery under the same roof as hair transplants, cosmetic dentistry and medical aesthetics, most of them built for patients flying in.
The reason is simple, and worth keeping in mind as you read: a clinic’s Google reviews belong to the whole clinic. A complex’s thousands of reviews come from hair patients, dental patients and surgical patients together, and there is no way for us to tell which is which. So the large review counts near the top tell you the size of the complex — not how experienced its plastic surgeons are.
The lower half of the list is where the single-specialty surgical centres and named surgeons sit. Their review counts are smaller, but it is much clearer whose they are.
Why three clinics were left out
In the raw ranking, two hair transplant clinics and a dental clinic made the top ten. They are recorded under plastic surgery in our catalogue too, and the records are not wrong — but putting a hair transplant clinic in the top ten for someone looking for a rhinoplasty, breast or abdominoplasty surgeon would make the list misleading. We took those three out, and say so in the criteria above. The hair transplant clinics already have a list of their own.
Settle these before surgery
- The surgeon’s name and specialty. Plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery is its own specialty. Verify the title of the person operating, not the clinic.
- Is the person consulting you the person operating? In large complexes that is not always so.
- How many times a year do they perform this procedure? One number says more than a long brochure.
- Who sets your return date — the package or the surgeon? It should be the surgeon.
- Who follows up a complication once you are home? Get it in writing, along with who pays for a revision.
How this list was made
Our catalogue holds 962 plastic surgery listings in İstanbul. The 738 rated 4.5 or better on Google are the field; this list is the 10 of them that the most patients have reviewed.
- 962
- clinics listed in İstanbul
- 4.5+
- rating needed to qualify
- 1,446
- reviews, the fewest on the list
Review count sets the order and the rating decides who is in the running. On rating alone the top would go to whichever practice talked three relatives into five stars. On review count alone it would be the busiest clinics in the city, whatever their patients thought.
The clinics, their ratings and their review counts are read from our catalogue when this page loads, so the order follows the current figures rather than the date this was written.
What we looked at
- Review count sets the order
- A clinic's place on this list comes from how many patients have reviewed it on Google. The most-reviewed clinic is first. Review count is the one countable piece of evidence for how many people actually went there and said something about it.
- The rating is a threshold, not a rank
- A clinic needs at least 4.5 on Google to be in the running at all. Below that it does not appear; above it, the rating only breaks a tie.
- The review count belongs to the whole complex
- The caveat that matters most on this list. The complexes at the top run plastic surgery alongside hair transplants, cosmetic dentistry and medical aesthetics. A clinic's thousands of reviews belong to all of those at once, and there is no way for us to tell which came from the surgical department. A large review count tells you the size of the complex — not how experienced its surgical team is.
- What we left out
- Three clinics are recorded under plastic surgery in our catalogue but do something else as their main business — two carry the name "Hair Transplant Turkey", one is a dental clinic. Their records are not wrong; they are simply off-topic for someone looking for a rhinoplasty or a breast surgeon. The hair transplant clinics are on our Istanbul hair transplant list.
- What we did not do
- We have not visited these clinics, checked surgeons' credentials or board certification, or followed up on outcomes. This is what the public data says — it is not an inspection.
The commentary is ours. The ratings are Google’s, and we do not adjust them.
The list

İstanbul, Altunizade, Kısıklı Cd. No:7, 34662 Üsküdar/İstanbul, Türkiye
A surgical complex in Üsküdar–Altunizade. Its business name lists four services and Google classifies it first as a hair transplant clinic — so we cannot tell how much of this review count comes from plastic surgery. Ask at the start which surgeon you would be working with.

İstanbul, Küçükbakkalköy, Işıklar Cd. No:28, 34758 Ataşehir/İstanbul, Türkiye
In Ataşehir, one medical centre in a group with several, and the most-reviewed of the complexes Google classifies directly as a plastic surgery clinic. Ratings are held per branch; read the page for the one you would visit.

İstanbul, Bahçelievler, Naci Kasım Sok. No:7, 34180 Bahçelievler/İstanbul, Türkiye
The same group's Bahçelievler branch. Two branches in the top three shows the group's scale; the rating still belongs to the branch, not to a surgeon.

İstanbul, Basın Ekspres Yolu, Yenibosna Merkez, Kavak Sk. No:3, 34197 Bahçelievler/İstanbul, Türkiye
Bahçelievler, on the Basın Ekspres corridor — the medical-tourism belt along the airport and hotel axis. One of the lower-rated clinics here; it clears the threshold and owes its place to weight of review.

İstanbul, 40.984546, 28.904546, XWM3+RR7, 34020 Zeytinburnu/İstanbul, Türkiye
In Zeytinburnu, running plastic surgery alongside hair transplants and dentistry. One caveat about the record rather than the clinic: the address we hold is raw coordinates instead of a street, so the location on the page says more about our data than about them.

İstanbul, Cevizlik, Ebuziya Cd. No:63/A, 34142 Bakırköy/İstanbul, Türkiye
Bakırköy–Cevizlik, and the first entry on this list recorded under plastic surgery alone — nothing else in our catalogue. So this review count largely belongs to the work you are reading about.

İstanbul, Hakkı Yeten Caddesi, Fulya, Kıvanç Sk. No:24, 34394 Şişli, Türkiye
Şişli–Fulya, a surgical medical centre classified in our catalogue under plastic surgery only. A central location, the kind that makes post-operative checks easy.

İstanbul, Acıbadem, Çeçen Sok. Kent Etabı No:20 A2 D:252, 34660 Üsküdar/İstanbul, Türkiye
Üsküdar–Acıbadem, on the Asian side and single-specialty. One of the more direct options for someone who does not want to cross the Bosphorus.

İstanbul, Levent, Hayat Sokağı No : 1, 34330 Beşiktaş/İstanbul, Türkiye
Beşiktaş–Levent, in the middle of the business district and recorded under plastic surgery only. For someone working in the city, follow-ups can fit around office hours.

İstanbul, Fulya, Mehmetçik Cd. No:61/B, 34394 Şişli/İstanbul, Türkiye
Şişli–Fulya, and the only entry on this list that carries a surgeon's own name. Unlike a complex's rating, it is clear whose reviews these are — there is a person who has put their name to the work.
Questions about this list
Which surgeon will actually operate?
The first and most important question. A complex's rating belongs to the institution; the operation belongs to a person. Ask in writing for the operating surgeon's name, their specialist qualification in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, and how many times a year they perform this procedure. Ask as well whether the person who consults you is the person who operates.
Is a cosmetic doctor the same as a plastic surgeon?
No. In Turkey, plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery is a separate medical specialty. Fillers and Botox can be given by other doctors, but for a surgical procedure that specialty is the title you are looking for. Verify the surgeon's qualification, not the clinic's.
How soon can I fly home after surgery?
Ask your surgeon rather than guessing — it varies a great deal by procedure. Package prices usually cover a short stay; post-operative checks, stitch removal and clot risk mean your return date should be set by the surgeon, not by the package.
What happens if I am unhappy with the result?
Before surgery, get it in writing who covers a revision, within what window, and whether it means another trip. If you live abroad, ask as well who follows up a complication that appears after you are home — that is the part package prices leave out.
Is Istanbul actually cheaper than plastic surgery at home?
Often considerably, which is why the city is one of the largest destinations for it. The comparison only holds once flights, a longer stay than the package assumes, time off work and the cost of a revision trip are in it. Surgery is also not a purchase you can return: weigh the surgeon before the price.
Can a clinic pay to be on this list?
No. ClinicPicker does sell placement, and it is labelled Sponsored wherever it appears — but it cannot appear here. Position comes from review count and rating alone.
