Great consultation with Dr. Chang. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable during my visit. I was immediately put at ease both by his professional yet friendly demeanor and his off hand knowledge concerning my specific medical situation. Dr. Chang is the consummate professional with an excellent bedside manner. Every staff member I encountered at UCBC was competent, efficient, friendly and helpful. UCBC made what could have been a stressful and uncomfortable visit into a positive and reassuring experience.
Had my first visit recently at UCBC in Athens and saw Dr Splichal. I was impressed from the moment I arrived! From the greeters in the atrium to point you in the right direction to the expert phlebotomist who were angels in white coats it was a truly amazing experience. Meeting Dr Splichal was not only reassuring it was confirmation that I was in good hands. He was extremely knowledgeable as well as very intuitive of a patients need of a positive attitude.
I’m so glad this was the location I chose for treatment. They are organized professional and fitted with all the latest technology. I highly recommend this facility!
Everyone is caring, professional, and polite and this includes all their wonderful volunteers. Jordan answered my questions and patiently addressed my concerns. UCBC sets the gold standard for excellent patient care. We’re very lucky to have them close to home.
Dr Flynt is both welcoming and helpful in his demeanor. He takes his time and makes certain I understand my health needs. The staff is pleasant and the facility is bright and comfortable. I’m pleased to give my best recommendation.
My consultation with Dr. Pathak was an excellent experience from start to finish. Dr. Pathak was warm, personable, and made me feel at ease, though I was a little nervous when I arrived.

I am glad to be in the care of Dr. Bodine. He has never pressured me into any treatment or surgery. He has been a great steward of my care and genuinely seems to care about his patients’ health and ensuring their treatment plans are acceptable to them. It’s refreshing not to feel like just a paycheck, but instead to feel like I have someone in healthcare on my side—someone who listens to my concerns, addresses them directly, and offers thoughtful guidance rather than pushing a predetermined course of action.
I Love this facility!! Every single staff member is really friendly & efficient! They are very kind & caring & each staff member as they walk by you, asks, "Is someone helping you"? (You are NOT going to be overlooked or dismissed, that's for sure!) Everything is done in a timely fashion & you won't be waiting too long for them to call you back into a room. The facility itself is new, big, roomy, & extremely clean!
