I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my terrible experience with BergeDent Clinic in Istanbul, specifically with the head of the clinic, Dr. Dt. Tunç Berge. After a great deal of research, I chose BergeDent Clinic in Istanbul for my dental treatment, which turned out to be a colossal mistake. I am living in USA . Upon arriving at the clinic, a dentist initially examined my teeth. However, she was exceptionally rude and unpleasant, leading me to request another dentist to handle my treatment. Based on the new dentist's recommendation, I agreed to undergo two extractions, three implants, a root canal, and teeth cleanings. I paid in full for the entire treatment, even though I was dissatisfied with the dentist's service. My dissatisfaction continued during the unprofessional root canal procedure. Then, Dr. Tunç Berge, the clinic's owner, took over my treatment. He performed a surgery on my wisdom tooth and extracted another tooth, in addition to the three implants. He rushed through the procedure, boasting that the entire operation, involving two extractions and three implants, took only 50 minutes. However, he seemed more focused on completing the job quickly than on the quality of his work. While his assistant used tools to keep my mouth open, she inadvertently damaged my inner cheek, creating a painful sore inside my mouth. When I reported this to Dr. Tunç at the clinic, he dismissed it as normal pain. However, when I returned home, the extreme pain persisted, especially inside my cheek where the assistant had caused damage. I reached out to the clinic via email to express my ongoing pain, but they failed to respond. Desperate for relief, I consulted a local dentist who prescribed medication, diagnosing an infection caused by a poorly executed procedure by Dr. Tunç and his assistant. Even after completing the antibiotic treatment, the pain persisted. I emailed Dr. Tunç and BergeDent Clinic, detailing my issues resulting from their substandard treatment and operation, but they remained unresponsive. Three weeks after the surgery, I still experienced excruciating pain. Another local dentist in the USA discovered that one of the implants was positioned too low, a mistake that could have caused permanent numbness in my lips. He also noted damage to my inner mouth due to the poor practices of Dr. Tunç and his staff. I received another round of antibiotics. After one month post-surgery, I am still in pain, and neither Dr. Tunç's office nor BergeDent Clinic has reached out to discuss their malpractice issues. I intend to report BergeDent Dental and Dr. Tunç to the Ministry of Health in Turkey to investigate their wrongdoing. I will also consult with a local lawyer in Istanbul to explore the possibility of legal action against this doctor. I've seen similar issues mentioned in other reviews, and I deeply regret not conducting more thorough research to avoid this office, clinic, and doctor. I hope this review serves as a warning to others. If you have experienced similar problems with this doctor, please contact me so we can consider a class-action lawsuit against him.
