The most tragic experience in my life. Two of my natural front teeth were broken during the removal of my old crowns because the clinician used a metal pry tool instead of proper technique. Despite causing this damage, the clinic charged me for restoration and also charged for the “original abutments,” even though those abutments were completely stuck and required more than 40 minutes of extreme physical force to remove, raising serious questions about whether they were even original. After breaking my teeth, the clinic attempted to rebuild them using an outdated post system that has not been used in modern dentistry for more than 15 years. I was then left for an entire week without a single tooth in my mouth because no temporary crowns were provided. The anesthesia was administered unprofessionally and caused a severe hematoma. The hygiene standards in the clinic were extremely poor: gloves were not changed between procedures,there was no mouth rinse, and needles remained with visible blood on non-sterile surfaces and were reused for anesthesia even 30 minutes later without being replaced. They initially refused to take an X-ray after performing the root canal, and when they finally agreed, the disposable cover on the sensor still had my blood from the previous day. When I pointed this out, I was told, “It’s your own blood since yesterday, it’s not a problem.” As soon as I returned home, the tooth broke again, and Canadian dentists who examined me were shocked by the condition of the work and the level of negligence. When I confronted the clinic about all these issues, instead of taking responsibility, they blamed me and insisted that I had to agree to a six-tooth bridge.
