Diş taşı temizliği için kliniğe gittim. En başta toplam ücretin 2000 TL olduğu söylendi. İşlem öncesinde muayene ücreti olarak 1100 TL alındı, temizlik sonrası kalan 900 TL’nin daha sonra alınacağı ifade edildi.
Ancak muayeneden sonra diş taşlarıma bakıldı ve bu kez yapılacak işlemin 8000 TL olduğu söylendi.
Benim memnun kalmadığım nokta şu: Elbette daha kapsamlı bir temizlik veya ek bir işlem gerekebilir, buna itirazım yok. Ancak önce muayene edilip fiyatın netleştirilmesi, ardından hastanın onayı alınarak sürece başlanması çok daha şeffaf ve doğru olurdu. Baştan 2000 TL denilip, sonrasında 8000 TL gibi çok farklı bir rakamla karşılaşmak benim için şaşırtıcı ve rahatsız edici oldu.
I visited the clinic for dental scaling (tartar cleaning). At the very beginning, I was told that the total cost would be 2,000 TL. Before the procedure, 1,100 TL was charged as an examination fee, and I was informed that the remaining 900 TL would be collected after the cleaning.
However, after the examination and once my tartar condition was checked, I was then told that the required treatment would actually cost 8,000 TL.
What I am dissatisfied with is this: I understand that a more detailed or advanced cleaning may be necessary, and I have no objection to that. However, it would have been much more transparent and appropriate to first perform the examination, then clearly determine the total price, and only proceed after obtaining the patient’s approval. Being told 2,000 TL initially and later being presented with a figure as high as 8,000 TL was surprising and uncomfortable for me.

I visited DCT on 23 March. I waited almost 3 months to post a review as wanted to ensure all my dental work settled well and I gave a fair and accurate review.
I chose DCT because they were recommended to me by a friend of a friend.
I visited for MEDICAL TREATMENT ONLY. In the UK I was quoted £2,200 for root canal treatment and a crown. I needed two, so that's £4,400. I also wanted whitening just to remove stains, which would have taken my bill to £5,000 in the UK.
I contacted DCT, got a quote I was happy with and booked my flights and accommodation. Some people thought I was mad, but I thoroughly read reviews, asked lots of questions and decided this was right for me.
The transport to and from the clinic was exceptional. The reception staff, my lead contact and all of the team were nothing short of exceptional. The service and care I received in Turkey, put the care I have received in the UK to shame.
Their technology is far superior to that I have seen in the UK. Clinics were cleaner and more modern. The team were supportive, kind, took their time to explain things to me and went over and above to ensure my care was nothing short of exceptional.
Throughout the consultation, they advised me against some treatments and had my health at the forefront all of the time. I wanted the laser teeth whitening but as my teeth are very sensitive, they advised I didn't have it, and instead had a home kit. I also discussed replacing old fillings and again they advised against it as it was more likely to cause damage to my teeth and weaken them.
I felt totally assured they were not trying any form of 'sales tactics', which I believe some clinics do.
I got a severe infection in one of my teeth after root canal and the team arranged prescriptions for me. The transport took me to collect the medication, and the driver escorted me from the car into the chemist with an umbrella to keep me dry. He explained to the chemist what I needed, and everything was made so easy for me.
The language barrier was no problem, my coordinator translated everything back and forth.
It's now been 3 months, my teeth have settled and are absolutely fine. My crowns look great. I've used the teeth whitening and am so happy that my natural teeth look cleaner, whiter and have no stains.
In total my treatment cost me around £1,000. With flights an accommodation I saved about £3,000. I would totally go to Turkey again for treatment and would recommend this clinic to everyone.
They also made my husband very welcome, who has now said he will also go there if he needs anything.
Oh, I have to mention the drinks menu, my gosh!!! Complimentary drinks which are something else!! For me and my husband.
The state of dentists and costs in the UK are disgraceful. I would recommend this clinic to anyone!!
Review of my 1st Visit, will update again once treatment finished early October. I traveled to DCT in March to have 2 back lower implants fitted. Communication throughout was excellent, I contacted other clinics that had been used by friends and I was at the bottom of their priority list due I believe to not wanting full mouth transformation. DCT were different, listened to what I wanted, quick to respond provided all the information I required in advance, most importantly which surgeon would be performing my treatment.
Driver collected me at my hotel, the clinic was spotless, welcoming reception staff who put you at ease from the start, after having X-rays and scans co ordinator talked through all treatment options clearly, nothing was pushy, just recommendations etc! I stuck to my original plan as I will get remaining work at home to keep my dentist here in the UK.
Treatment happened straight away, no long waits. I was at the Debtist 9.30am back at hotel having hygenist work, two extractions one bone graft and two implants incerted at 1.30pm. Surgeon was fantastic and no pain throughout! I went back for final check up before flying home again excellent service. I now wait until Sept to have crowns fitted but so far experience was 10/10
