Excellent hospital. From the receptionist, check in to some very lovely caring nurses. Felt very looked after. The doctor was fab. Very calm feeling about the place and everybody was just lovely. Thank you very much for looking after me so well.

Excellent service, professional staff. My father had double hip replacement in November 2024 and February 2025 performed by Mr. Steward Edwards. Excellent outcome in rather complex case, we are very happy with the results. Completely new life experience, pain free and regaining mobility.

Allow plenty of time in advance of your appointment when attending Aut Even. The carpark is a nightmare and there was a queue at reception to ask the one person there which direction to go to find the relevant consultant.

Our time in Aut Evan was excellent. The space was low stress from start to finish. Thanks to Jane, she looked after us during our visit. She was able to put us at ease and answered all our questions. There is a cafe in the hospital open til 5pm Monday to Friday. There is hot food available here. It is on the 1st floor. Aut Evan on the outskirts of town so this is your best bet for food if you don't want to travel far.

Well done to Elaine, Mary B, Eoin and Tony in the Day Unit. Great treatment. I also need to give a huge 10* shout out to Deirdre Mannion who works in the radiology department. She is incredible!

The receptionists, nurses, and doctors were excellent and very friendly. We only had to wait about an hour for the surgery, which was very reasonable. The hospital is clean and spacious. The food was decent, though not as varied as what you might find in public hospitals (e.g., Halal meat). Furthermore, it would be a nice gesture if they provided a meal for the companion staying overnight although they don't have to. At night, it seemed like they were a bit understaffed. Finally, I would have appreciated if the doctor had time to meet with us right after the surgery to check on the patient. However, he did come by later. Overall, the hospital definitely deserves +4.5 stars and I recommend it.

My Son Just had an ACL surgery done for him at Aut Even and have to say its top class . From the minute you check in and gef to your room it's so well done and the Staff are absolutely so kind caring and friendly. Like to say Thanks a million to all of ye in Aut Even from The staff at the Desk The porters The Nurses in Floor 2 and the Cleaners ye are just brillant the physio and most of all The surgeon Dr. Brenadan Long and his team. From a Mother of a lad whhad operation done first time in Hospital so ye made it even easier. Thanks a million from a Tipperary Mother son was Corey Ryan room 201. Best of luck to ye all.
