I have been receiving treatment at this hospital since November 2025, and I honestly cannot thank everyone enough for the incredible care I have received throughout my journey.
Throughout my treatment so far, I have had experience with several departments, including Oncology, Breast Care, Genetics, Surgery, and others. In every area where I have personally received care, every doctor, nurse, and member of staff has been wonderful. They are professional, compassionate, attentive, and always willing to take the time to answer questions and provide support. Their kindness and empathy have made a difficult time much easier to navigate.
The level of care and dedication shown by everyone involved has exceeded all my expectations, and I will always be grateful for everything they have done for me.
Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding work, your compassion, and for treating patients not only with expertise, but with genuine care and humanity. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone seeking exceptional medical care.
9hrs in a&e on a Wednesday. No water available in the waiting room. When I asked again (as I was in disbelief their could be no potable water available) was told I was stupid by the receptionist. Only given pain killers after sitting for 6hours in agony. Waited another 3hours with no information. 9hrs and still hadn't completed a urine test??! Then I started to get bitten by something and had welts on my arms and face. The toilets had no working locks. The place was filthy. I have never seen nor experienced this lack of care.
Honestly, find a different hospital.
Got into the system through ED.Within 4 hrs had bloods,blood pressure and a full accessment in triage.I then was called back for consultation and scan by urology Doctors (2) and an appointment made for systology exam.Within 10 days I was admitted for surgery.After surgery went to Bennetts ward where I was taken care of by an angel called Nevia (sorry this is a phonetic spelling)who ran the ward with compassion and professionalism thats was natural rather than by the book.This is the first review that I have ever written.
I have been in this hospital for 15 hours and the experience has been absolutely unacceptable. During this entire time, they have only taken blood samples repeatedly, yet I have still not been able to see a doctor.
There is no proper communication, no clear information, and no sense of responsibility. Despite being seriously ill, I was left waiting in uncertainty for hours with no explanation. This level of neglect toward a patient’s condition is alarming.
I felt less like a patient and more like a forgotten file. Healthcare should never work this way. Unless you have no other option, I strongly recommend avoiding this hospital.
I needed an immediate surgery in the max fac department. The doctors were excellent and super supportive! The nurses and staffs in the Anne Young ward were super kind and helpful, too! Thank you to all!
It was such a bad hospital and worse patient service in emergency department.
Such a unhealthy environment as patient's companions are getting sick while waiting in the hospital. In waiting room, you can smell pee and toilets. So expensive as for just an appointment you have to pay huge amount of money.
Worse experience ever.
October 13, 1:46 PM, I am in the emergency department visiting my patient who is in good condition and there is no type of emergency around etc... THE BLONDE NURSE WITH A PONYTAIL, BLUE EYES AND IRISH WAS RUDE both in the way she expressed herself and in throwing me out for no apparent reason and she also spoke badly to the patient in front of her... I think she should go on vacation and remember why she wanted to work in health care (helping others) because that treatment is horrible. I hope this comment is read by people and reaches especially your manager, whoever is above you... the years worked, the experience or what rank you are in do not matter. Education and love for helping others should not disappear from your person if you love your job. We all have a bad day... so remember: be kind. KARMA
