I visited this dentist with my daughter (5 years old) for a cavity filling, and it was a great experience. The doctor was very kind, patient, and professional throughout the entire appointment. My child felt comfortable and didn't cry at all, which was a huge relief. The treatment was handled gently and with great care. I really appreciate the doctor's calm approach and excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a dentist who is great with children.
I had an excellent experience at Shields Dental with Dr. Pierre for my dental implant. From start to finish, everything was handled with the highest level of professionalism and care by all the staff. They were always friendly and welcoming. Dr. Pierre explained the entire procedure clearly from the start and answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable at all times. I couldn’t recommend him and Shields enough.
I found myself off work from an injury and decided to use the time to get my teeth inspected and cleaned. It was a very last minute booking my own dentist had no availability so i got a short notice appointment with shields for a inspection and general cleaning, quoted €60.
after finishing the forms on a tablet i notice a button for “appointment details” pressing it showed €120 in extra charges i did not book. Want to reception and was told not to worry about it.
Soon as i sat down the doctor explained that she is going to do several x rays to get a good overview of my whole mouth. When i explained that i just came for a routine inspection and cleaning i was told that she does not feel comfortable doing the inspection without the x rays as i could have hidden problems underneath the surface.
She then went on to explain that what i booked was just an inspection and that the cleaning would need to be a separate booking.
Nervous and uncomfortable i foolishly agree to the minim x rays needed.
afterwards i got confirmation of what i already suspected. Overall good but need a cleaning
And to floss more. Admittedly i did not speak up as i was being pressured into signing up for a another booking for the cleaning and a “treatment plan”.
Back at reception i paid the agreed upon €90 and refused to sign the paperwork for any of the additional services. I barley made it to my car before i got a conformation email saying that i had signed up for the treatment plan. Emailed back to cancel and i hope that will be the end of it but i will have to wait and see.
I left with my teeth no better than when i arrived with €90 out of my bank account. Overall i found the experience misleading at best and a scam at the worst. Seems from my experience and the other reviews, they pressure patients to agree to procedures that they don’t want or need.
I had a great experience at Shields Dental. The entire team was professional, friendly, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The clinic is clean, modern, and very welcoming and the care I received was outstanding!
I went in for gum pain, and Dr Coro was amazing. She took great care of me and helped identify the root cause of my pain. I really appreciated her professionalism, kindness, and attention throughout the visit. I highly recommend both the clinic and Dr Coro to anyone looking for excellent dental care.
Dr. Andrii Kogut went above and beyond in my case, providing more than the usual standard dental experience. Very professional and easy to communicate with. I will be recommending Shields and Dr Andrii to anyone who needs good quality dental care!
My 9 year old daughter had a check up recently with Dr Nathalio. She was very nervous but the experience from the moment we arrived was fantastic. Dr Nathalio was so good with her. He has a lovely relaxing manner with kids .She said it was actually fun! Thanks so much ☆
Had a dental emergency while on vacation on a Saturday night, and they had me in by Sunday morning 9am. Amazing life saver to ensure I could travel home Transatlantic that afternoon without worry.
