My husband and I have had a really positive experience with Repromed Galway. From the very beginning, the entire team made us feel supported, cared for and never like “just another patient”.
Our initial consultation with Dr Ernesto was excellent. He took the time to listen to all of our concerns and we never once felt rushed or like our appointment was just a box-ticking exercise. He is incredibly knowledgeable, up to date with current fertility research and studies, and explained everything in a way that made us feel informed and reassured about our fertility treatment.
All of the nursing team were also exceptional, particularly Fiona and Shauna, who looked after me mostly. They were incredibly kind, calm and reassuring especially during EC and made what could have been a very stressful part of the IVF process feel safe and supported. Small touches like helping me relax beforehand and making sure I was comfortable in recovery really really meant a lot.
Dr Olia was also wonderful, she took the time to speak with me properly and I never felt rushed. It felt like our case genuinely mattered to the whole team.
I also have to mention Linda on reception, who is always so welcoming and helpful. Even on days when Galway traffic made us late, she was nothing but kind and understanding, which immediately puts you at ease when you arrive.
Lastly, the unsung hero’s in the Lab, thank you for explaining everything so thoroughly and calling me with such compassion and empathy. Always asked if I had any questions and always replied on the app when I didn’t understand something.
Fertility treatment can be an emotional journey, and being through this for many years now with such trauma and anxiety, it was so appreciated having such a compassionate and professional team with you at each step. It makes a huge difference. We are very grateful for the care we have received at Repromed so far and would highly recommend the clinic to anyone beginning their fertility journey

I don't know where to start but from start to finish the whole experience was stress free. I dealt with aoife in cork for scans and bloods etc and galway then for transfer. Aoife is amazing she honearly had such compassion when things where not going to plan throughout our treatmwnt but was there up until the very call to inform us we finally got a positive. She was amazing and I cant thank her and the team in galway enough. Here we are now with put nearly 10 month old boy Oisìn and all thanks to the clinic 💙
I would highly recommend repomed galway to anyone. Last year was the toughest for me with having pcos and expected endometriosis and due to my ex partner having a condition our option was ivf. I am now currently pregnant with my baby boy to come (nearly 28weeks) 💙 and could not be happier. This would not have been possible without the help from everyone at repomed galway so I am forever grateful.
I did continue the journey alone as my ex partner decided he didn't want a baby anymore, but it was the best thing I ever did. The Journey was tough and at times very emotional. But the staff were so good, kind and caring and got me through it all.
I will always be thankful to the doctors, nurses & staff at repomed galway.
Many thanks to Dr Zaib, Dr Conway, Dr Ernesto, Dr Maguel, nurse Fiona, nurse Shauna, nurse Rebecca and if i left anyone out I am sorry 😅. But I can't thank you all enough for all the help to get here now and to be blessed with the gift of becoming a mother which has been my dream for the last 4 years. Couldn't recommend repomed galway enough 💕.
We had consultation after neaely 6 years , i loved how we were explained ecerything and put at ease even wirh my age might have some hope. Our journey starts now for a bundle of joy

My husband Barry drove to Repromed Galway first, to pick up the sperm container. That part was easy and quick. No issues there. But it might have been easier, if we were allowed to collect the container the evening before, to make things easier going to Dublin the next morning, less travel to do in the one day and would have been less stress and pressure to make the 3:30 PM deadline back to Galway, all in the one day.
Once Barry received the container in Galway, he felt the pressure on him to get to Dublin quickly.
Once he arrived in Dublin, he said he found it extremely stressful trying to locate the Clinic. There were no visible sign posts whatsoever outside the building when he drove past. It would have helped if somebody had explained to him, that there is no outside parking for Repromed. If it was explained to him that the parking was underground, it would have been a lot quicker.
Then, when he did find the parking underground, that's when the real stress started. He said the container was very heavy and he was really nervous carrying it. The signs for Repromed underground parking were not too visible either, only one or two signs here and there.
Then, when he did find the signs for Repromed, he had to go up one flight of stairs with the heavy container, then take the elevator, then take another flight of stairs, and then down another flight of stairs, and then walk around the back of another building, all of which were not sign posted. Then, he went into this other building, with no signs for Repromed on it. He went up to the second floor. Barry gave the container over to the Receptionist. Barry told her the paper work is all in the container.
They asked Barry two more times where the paper work was, and he had to repest himself two more times. After that, they gave give him our sperm sample, but nobody offered to help him to carry the container back to the car. When he did finally get back to the car, he felt the pressure and stress to get back to Galway with the sample on time.
The IVF process is such a difficult and highly stressful time, especially for couples who rely on it as there only way to have children. We know we made a mistake when we were ordering the sperm by selecting Dublin instead of Galway. For every round we need to do, and also for every transfer that we need to do, we have to pay out thousands, with no guarantees of a baby after any round.
We think it would have been a lot easier if Repromed had a more straight forward way of helping patients who make a human error mistake like we did, to ship their samples to their Clinics.
But thankfully, Barry did arrive back to Galway on time. But he found it a very long and hard day without a break.
On a more positive note, we really appreciate very much, the very quick, friendly and efficient way in which all the paper work was sent to us and processed in such a timely manner. Toyin, from Embryology was very kind, friendly and reassuring and she really helped to make the form filling process much easier for us and she went to a lot of trouble to make sure that we were able to pick up our sperm sample from Dublin on time, to ensure that there were no delays with starting our ICSI treatment cycle.
We had a very positive experience with Repromed Galway. All members of staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We felt very well taken care of at each visit and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Repromed to anyone. We now have a beautiful baby girl, so we cannot be thankful enough to everyone at repromed who helped us start our family! Thank you all so much!
