I had a very disappointing experience. It was extremely expensive for absolutely nothing. The doctor did not listen to me, did not try to understand my problem, and prescribed medication for something completely different. Saying that “people at my age don’t get sick with this” was shocking and highly unprofessional. I felt dismissed and ignored. I would not recommend this doctor.

A very meticulous examination and follow up, they were relentless in getting to the cause of my problem, and thankfully I’ve now been diagnosed and receiving treatment. I highly recommend Rafter Medical!

I believe GP practices should clearly advise patients of the consultation fee in advance. I was charged €80 for a consultation that lasted less than four minutes, which I found very disappointing and unreasonable.

Whenever I have a complaint or health concern, they always listen to me carefully, take the time to truly understand the issue, and immediately start working on a solution. The entire staff is absolutely great — thank you to all of them! And a special thanks to the doctor as well; they pay close attention and are genuinely helpful. Highly appreciated!

Absolutely fantastic practice. Dr Yvonne Rafter is an excellent physician, and is completely thorough with managing her patients. I cannot recommend her highly enough. The practice staff on reception are also always extremely pleasant and helpful, and there has never been any bother for myself getting an appointment. Thank you!

Extremely rude staff. Doctors charging 20 euro to anticipate a one month prescription when you are trying to book your appointment for the week after. It is a shame what they are doing in the Irish healthy system. Just for note I am a HSE staff myself

Its a decent clinic, the receptionists are great and efficient, your not kept waiting around for too long when you have an appointment and its quite easy to get an appointment even the same day when you call them however they seem to charge more than average and I do find some of the staff a bit hostile. The doctors also don’t waste any time on smalltalk and it does feel a bit rushed to be honest but they seem thorough which is the main thing. In summary its fine but I think you might find a better practice where you feel more at ease to talk about your health. Like someone else said it feels a little like your in some place your not meant to be, asking questions while feeling like your an inconvenience but you are a paying customer at the end of the day.

I have been attending Dr Yvonne and Dr Dermot for so many years now and my husband and son also attend here. We have always been treated extremely well with great care and attention by all in the practice. We highly recommend Rafter Medical.
