I had a great experience at No.8 Clinic. The whole team was very professional, friendly, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Everything was handled quickly and efficiently, which made the visit very smooth and stress-free.
The dentist was incredible — very skilled, gentle, and explained everything clearly before starting the treatment. The procedure was quick and comfortable, and I felt I was in very good hands throughout the appointment.
A special thanks to Sam at the reception desk, who was extremely friendly and helpful. She made the check-in process easy and created a very welcoming atmosphere and i will be sleeping tonight deeply thanks to her and the Doctor
Overall, an excellent service with a professional and caring team. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a reliable and friendly dentist in Limerick.

Dr Victory Neo is a professional and very good at his job. Explains everything well and cares about the patients. As a nervous patient regarding teeth Dr Victory is very gentle and nothing ever hurts, I actually like going to the dentist now because the experience is easy going. Thank you Dr!
The dentist was very kind and did a good job fixing my crown. However, I was disappointed with the pricing communication. On the phone we were told one price, but when I was already sitting in the chair, we were suddenly told it would cost €120 and asked to pay immediately. It felt uncomfortable and stressful. I would appreciate clearer pricing and more respectful communication with patients.
This was genuinely one of the worst medical experiences I’ve ever had. Completely unprofessional, incompetent and a total waste of money.
My appointment was for 8:30. I arrived early at 8:20 and still wasn’t seen until 8:50, which already set the tone for the visit.
From the very start, nothing was handled properly. I explained everything clearly from A to Z — how the problem started, how the gum became swollen, the pain I had on Friday because of a tooth growing underneath, and most importantly the fact that I’ve had a very high fever since Saturday, sometimes rising 3–4 times a day. Even when the pain and swelling mostly went down after painkillers, the fever never stopped. It’s been constantly around 37, going up to 38–39, with a sore throat and painful swallowing. No cough, no runny nose — just fever and inflammation.
Despite explaining all of this in detail, I got absolutely no clear answers. I asked very basic questions: is there an infection under the tooth, how serious is it, how urgent is it to remove it, and where I should go to remove a wisdom tooth. The response to almost every question was simply ‘I don’t know’ or ‘not sure’.
Instead of explaining my condition, a large part of the appointment was spent listening to personal stories about the dentist’s life, which was completely irrelevant and frustrating. When I specifically asked for recommendations on where to remove a wisdom tooth, I was told they don’t know.
An X-ray was taken, but I was then told they can’t do a proper or full X-ray because they don’t have the machine, and that I would need to go to another clinic and pay €75. I had already paid €55 for this visit. From the X-ray I did get, they told me basically nothing — just that the tooth is under the gum and that it ‘could be growing in any direction’. No explanation, no diagnosis, no plan.
At one point, when I mentioned the constant high fever, the dentist actually asked me ‘Do you think your head and teeth are connected?’ which was shocking to hear from a medical professional. When I replied that this is something a doctor should explain to me, the answer again was ‘I don’t know’.
To make it even worse, I was prescribed three different painkillers for my tooth. I clearly said that the tooth itself was no longer painful. I asked why I should take them, and the answer was ‘so it doesn’t hurt’. This made absolutely no sense.
I also explained that I had been to another dentist a few months ago with a similar issue (though without such a high fever). That dentist immediately recognised that the tooth was growing under the gum, cut the gum back to relieve the problem and clearly explained the situation. This time, despite more serious symptoms, I left with more question marks than answers.
What makes this whole situation worse is that on the phone beforehand I clearly said I wanted a proper X-ray to check for infection and understand how the tooth is growing. I was told ‘no bother, come in tomorrow morning, we’ll help you’. In reality, nothing I was promised was delivered.
On top of everything else, communication was a serious issue. The main dentist barely spoke English, which made it extremely difficult to explain my symptoms properly or understand anything in return. I constantly had to repeat myself, and even then most of the answers were ‘I don’t know’.
There was a second dentist in the room who wasn’t actively treating me and spent a large part of the appointment talking about completely irrelevant things — where he’s from, where he lives, and where his son lives. Instead of focusing on my medical issue, I was listening to personal stories, while my questions about my tooth and infection remained unanswered.
In the end, the clinic didn’t help me in any medical way. No explanation, no diagnosis, no solution. I paid €55 and the only useful thing I received was a sick note for work stating that I cannot attend due to my tooth. That is literally the only thing I am grateful for.
I can't rate this Dentist enough, Neo Victory is beyond professional, I've had 3 teeth removed there and no problems with extractions fillings or the clean, very friendly staff and great at what they do, 10/10 dentist
I’ve always been a very nervous patient when it comes to the dentist, but my experience at No.8 Dental Limerick completely changed that. Dr. Victory Neo was incredible — calm, kind, and so reassuring throughout the whole visit. He made me feel completely at ease and explained everything clearly before starting any treatment. The service was absolutely top notch from start to finish, and the whole team were friendly and professional. I can’t recommend Dr. Neo and No.8 Dental enough — they’ve truly helped me overcome my fear of the dentist!
