Short version - I was blown away by the after-sales customer service! Long version (and apologies for the long build-up to this one, but I feel the five stars need the context!) - my aunt bought a "one-touch radio" for my Dad last year after he had moved into a nursing home on a permanent basis. During one of the nursing home tidy-up's/re-positionings the power adapter for the radio was misplaced, so we had to rely on D batteries which wasn't ideal. I rang Murray's and a lovely lady who I won't name went absolutely above-and-beyond to source the power adapter from the warehouse and even posted it to me for free! I'll definitely be recommending and shopping at Murrays store in the future! Thank you (especially to the lovely lady involved!).
Ordered a chair for my mum costing 800€ . I was told it would take two weeks. Three weeks later and still no chair.
I called 3 times and no answer , left a voicemail and no return call.
Called again next day and the same thing.
Nobody answering calls.
Eventually somebody called back after I left an angry voicemail only to tell me I’d be another 4 to 5 weeks waiting.
Like what !!! It’s not a designer chair I ordered !!!
Go elsewhere . Refund in process (better be)
I needed a specific type of compression stocking which I couldn’t find anywhere. The very kind staff member Janette I think was her name that I spoke to on the phone couldn’t find them at the time but kept looking and posted them out to me the very next day
Went to look for sitting pad for an elderly gentleman, 2 staff said they only have the expensive one I can see there in store. I have now seen their online store has ones for less than 100 euros but the man in store just sent me to Pennys...
Flying to New Zealand in less than 24 hours and I have contacted Murray’s as I was panicked about compression socks for my flight! And they close at 5.30, Janine offered to wait 10 mins behind after close to ensure that I get the socks before my flight! I have been stressed about this but she has obliged and for that I am very grateful. Highly recommend!
We just had terrible experience with this store. My wife went to the store last week to buy some socks which can keep her feet warm and comfortable. A saleswoman promoted some kind of expensive compression socks for her own benefits obviously. My wife had no experience on wearing compression socks and she chose to believe in her anyway since this seems to be a professional store for special need. However, this kind socks are not for her symptoms. Actually, she suffered more with it. Today we went to the store with hope to refund or exchange for something at least. They refused everything including exchange for same socks with larger size. Completely horrible service!
Excellent service. Ordered lightweight 3 wheel rollator online Tuesday morning and delivered following morning in time for my mums birthday. Thank you.
