I recently had to visit Monread Dental for an emergency appointment due to severe pain from an abscess. From the moment I spoke with the receptionist, I was treated with kindness and efficiency, and I was seen within minutes by Dr Patrick. He quickly put me at ease with his calm and pleasant manner and relieved my pain almost immediately by performing a tooth extraction.
I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Having attended Monread Dental on several occasions since moving to Kildare a number of years ago, I can confidently say that they genuinely care about their patients and consistently make every visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
I recently had four of my top front left teeth fully reconstructed, and I can honestly say the experience with Dr. John and his incredible team has been nothing short of life‑changing. My teeth were in terrible shape, and after years of disappointment with other dentists, my expectations were low — but Monread Dental completely turned that around.
From the moment you walk through the door, you’re met with a friendly, positive, “let’s get your smile right” attitude. That alone put me at ease, but the real shock came when I saw the results. I was genuinely emotional. Dr. John didn’t just fix my teeth — he restored my confidence. Such a brilliant experience with Dr Derek Lombard! Such a lovely dentist and great attention to detail! I was very nervous and the whole atmosphere of this dental practice really does put you at ease. Louise at reception is also so lovely and was so kind fitting me in as soon as she could! Highly recommend Dr John OBrien. I had some composite bonding applied to 4 front teeth as grinding had caused them to look crooked. Thrilled with the results. Dr John was super friendly and professional. He took a huge amount of time to ensure perfect results. Sorry i didn't do it sooner!
Dr. Motti is truly exceptional. I’m a very nervous patient, and she has shown me nothing but patience, kindness, and genuine care from the moment I walked in. She explains everything clearly, checks in constantly to make sure I’m comfortable, and never makes me feel rushed or silly for being anxious. Her calm, reassuring manner has made a world of difference to me. I’m incredibly grateful to have found her and couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Have recently been attending Monread Dental to get various treatments done. I have been under the care of Dr John O'Brien .
From arrival you are always greeted by the friendly receptionists , taken promptly and every treatment has been explained. He has given me a dental plan as I am wanting to change mercury fillings to composite , I also needed composite fillings on receded gums (see before /after pics) , next step is to partially crown a broken tooth that has been filled years ago with mercury , I will update pics when ive had that procedure .
Then finally replace 4 veneers .
Apart from having to keep my mouth open I didnt feel a thing, his work is incredible and so natural , he works quietly , quickly and efficiently so i think he would also suit very nervous patients.
The dental assistants are super too and the rooms are spotless.
Highly recommend this clinic , parking directly at the door too .

Monread Dental are great! Dr Moti is brilliant, she is super friendly, very clear and thorough. Dr Pat took out my wisdom teeth, made it stress-free and explained it all very well before and after.
Louise puts you at ease as soon as you get in the door!
They all take the stress out of going to the dentist!
