We had such a lovely experience at Merion Ultrasound Clinic. From the moment we walked in, Ciara and Michelle on reception were so warm and welcoming, they really put us at ease straight away.
Feena, who carried out the scan, was absolutely brilliant. She was kind, gentle, and took her time to explain everything clearly. The whole experience felt calm, reassuring, and really special for us.
It can be an emotional appointment, and we genuinely felt cared for from start to finish. Thank you all so much for making it such a positive and memorable experience, we really appreciate it. ♥️
Initially it went all good, we were booked in for Saturday Anatomy scan.
After scan sonographer and receptionist mentioned photos and videos will be sent through email in a min or so. We didn't receive by then we were willing to wait since we had doctor's appointment on Monday and need to show them reports.
Sonographer said they are closing will resend possible on monday morning.
They guided us all wrong when I called in monday, they said they don't send email rather a they send a link for photos and videos and physical report same day instead. Really?? We had to visit the place next day again to collect our report and the link. Receptionist was not friendly, she was not interested in helping. Even when its there mistake they guide us wrong all way and we had waste other day to come back for reports. Very disappointed with misguidance and confusion. As first time parent this is really not how we should be guided.
Would give zero stars if possible. I don’t normally review however following a very unnecessarily upsetting experience I feel compelled to. I attended this clinic recently for our Anatomy scan. As a full time stay at home mom currently on baby number 3 (3rd under 3) my husband & I were informed on arrival our current baby was not allowed in the scan (baring in mind he was in his buggy therefore causing no interference to the situation & is still being breastfed as such difficult to get minded) as such my husband had to wait outside & was unable to attend such a critical scan. Thankfully everything was ok with our baby however my anxiety remained throughout the scan due to the cold, abrupt manner of the sonographer. This is my 3rd anatomy scan in 3years, the only one with this clinic and it was by far the worst experience. The clinic stated they have a clear no children policy for scans which they only notified us of the day before via email. For a clinic who is supposed to be dedicated to the care of mothers & families we found it very evident they are more interested in making money rather than putting patients first. What heightened the overall upset was the rude demeanor the staff approached us with throughout our entire time there. We were made feel like we should be so lucky to be allowed get the scan despite the fact we are paying for such “privilege” and that we were completely inconveniencing them for being so ridiculous to have brought our baby with us. We previously went public on our other pregnancies & had no problem bringing our other baby to the scans. We also previously attended the Evie clinic in the Beacon for private scans and they couldn’t have been more accommodating to us & our baby, as such we shall be attending there going forward. Overall this was an incredibly upsetting experience which was completely unnecessary. The receptionists & sonographers lack basic respect for their patients in how they speak to & treat them therefore I strongly advice against using this clinic.
I had my NIPT bloods and scan last week with the most incredible midwife Sue. She was so welcoming and kind. She talked me through everything and gave me so much information. She sent me on lots of lovely photos and videos which was so nice as my husband could not attend. It was such a lovely and positive expensive and I’m looking forward to being back for my anatomy scan. Thank you so much Sue and Merrion fetal health for such a lovely experience!
I attended Merrion Fetal Health for my 20 week scan. The clinic itself is lovely and I felt lovely and relaxed before being called for my scan. The staff were very friendly and I wasn't left waiting too long. The scan itself was a great experience. It's always a worrying time but I was made to feel completely at ease. I felt very comfortable and I was so impressed by how thorough the scan was, how clearly everything was explained and how much I could see! At every step the baby's health was explained and I really appreciated the reassurance throughout. A very positive experience!
My husband and I recently had an anatomy scan here and had a really good experience. The enviroment was really calming and we felt really taken care of from reception all the way through to the ultrasound with the midwife. During the scan itself, the time was taken to ensure I was comfortable and answered any questions with patience - this went so far to help ease my anxiety. I highly recommend them.
My husband and I had a very positive experience at Merrion Fetal Health. All staff from reception to the nurse who saw us were very friendly and efficient. We only had to wait a few minutes extra beyond our scheduled time and the scan was clearly explained as the nurse moved around different parts of our baby's anatomy. The nurse had a good sense of humour as well when our baby did the metal hand gesture towards the start of the scan! I would have no hesitation in recommending Merrion Fetal Health to anyone for pregnancy related reasons.
Had my NIPT appointment here today which also included a scan and I really appreciated the midwife Fiana’s kind demeanor and information through the session. She really put me at ease just when it comes to pregnancy nerves in general and explained everything
thoroughly. The clinic was very clean, orderly and the receptionist were kind as well. Thank you again :)
