I recently had my second micro needling session with Michelle at E&S Aesthetics, and unfortunately it was a very different experience from my first.
When I originally booked, I was told to arrive at 4:20 pm. Then on the day, I received a confirmation message saying 3:30 pm, and when I flagged the discrepancy, I was told to come in by 4:10 pm instead. I arrived at 4:15 pm, only five minutes later than asked.
From the start, the session felt rushed. The numbing cream wasn't applied to my neck, and when I asked about it, I was told neck treatment would cost an extra €20, something that was never communicated to me when I paid €59.99 upfront for this package. I was then told I was "already late" and that it would take too long, despite the appointment confusion being on their end.
The actual treatment started after 4:30 pm and was done by 4:53 pm barely 20 minutes of treatment time. My first session was thorough and unhurried, with proper attention to both face and neck. This session felt like it was cut short simply because the therapist wanted to finish for the day.
This second experience was genuinely disappointing. I had every intention of making E&S Aesthetics my permanent clinic for ongoing treatments, but based on this visit I no longer feel confident doing so. I paid in advance in good faith and did not receive the standard of care I was promised. I would also like to formally request a reimbursement for this second session, as I do not feel the service delivered was worth what was charged.
I have always been given the best service at E&S Aesthetics. I cannot say enough good things about Dr.Gus and the service he provides. Today I had a consultation with the lovely Michelle. She is just amazing at what she does, so informative and very helpful. She knows exactly what is required to give your skin the best care it needs. I have attended this clinic a few times over the last 9 years and they always listen to your needs and are always ethically conscientious. I have only ever attended this clinic as I have always received the utmost care.
Valentina was great! Really friendly, and patient to explain me everything, as I had never done microneedling before. I felt zero pain!! My skin was really red in the first few hours, which is expected and absolutely normal! What I didn’t thought I would see already on the first evening, and how my skin already improved! My pores are significantly smaller and the black spots on my nose incredibly reduced! I can’t wait to do more sessions! 10 out 10 service! Thank you Valentina!

I had an amazing experience at this beauty studio. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The place is clean, relaxing, and beautifully designed. The staff is extremely professional, kind, and attentive to every detail. They really take the time to understand what you want and make sure you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Cosmetic treatments - especially injectables - have become increasingly popular in recent years leading to increased availability. Some of these smaller business are operating with inadequate training and this is risky business given the nature of the treatments. It's never been more important to stick with reputable providers. And even some of the big chains (whom I won't name) offering these treatments should come with a warning too. The practicioners are not medical professionals but salespeople often try to "upsell" and promote additional unnecessary treatments. Aside from being ethically questionable many of these practicioners are not adequately qualified in advising such treatments never mind administering them. I've been attending E&S for several years and they listen to my needs (I suffer with chronic migraine) and provide the appropriate treatments. They are ethically sound, qualified doctors delivering effective and safe treatments. In my opinion there is no need to go anywhere else.
It sounds like I'm promoting this place but I have no affiliation with this service at all. I genuinely just feel strongly about the lack of regulation in this industry especially when it's often young women being exploited and putting themselves at risk without realising it.
