My wife and I made a walk in appointment for our youngest son as we suspected him of having an infection during the first week of our trip visiting family in Newry. Our son was attended to by the clinic’s nurse practitioner, Ciara Watters, who rendered excellent treatment. She was very caring and sweet towards our son and, after a thorough examination, confirmed an infection. As she could not successfully verify that one of his ear drums had not been perforated, Ciara Watters advised a follow up appointment for our son the following week before our return flight home to the United States. At that second appointment too Ciara Watters was once again very professional and caring. It’s clear that she is very passionate about her job and has a wonderful bedside manner. We recommend the duality healthcare clinic in Newry to family and friends, particularly because of Ciara Watters.

This is my review of their partner ADHD Now, because that's who I was referred to through them. The experience wasn't ADHD centred at all. No reminders of appointment, no reminders of the medical information required before my appointment. Worst of all, it took 4 phone calls, an unanswered email and over a month to get my money back. They never once got back to me, even the email wasn't responded to. I just kept being told that 'the manager hadn't responded to their message'. It was unbelievably frustrating having to keep ringing and it wasn't until my 4th phone call that I was refunded by someone different I talked to. As I told them, even my dogs vet sends reminders when I've booked an appointment. I went with another provider and the experience was like night and day, constant reminders, clarification of all medical info required and an automatic rescheduling of appointment when everything wasn't in place. Duality needs to seriously reconsider their partner because not only is the ADHD Now service bad, it's 10 times worse when you're already struggling with ADHD.

I recently had an ultrasound assessment and steroid injection for de Quervain’s tenosynovitis with Mr Guy Nott, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish the service was professional, thorough, and reassuring. The consultation was clear and informative. Mr Nott took the time to explain the diagnosis, what was causing my pain, and exactly how the ultrasound-guided injection would help. The procedure itself was quick and as comfortable as possible, with excellent attention to hygiene and patient comfort. Mr Nott was calm, friendly, and very knowledgeable, answering all my questions and making sure I understood each step. Since the injection I’ve noticed a significant reduction in pain and improved function in my wrist and thumb. I highly recommend Mr Nott for anyone needing expert musculoskeletal ultrasound assessment and treatment. A truly positive experience!

I recently had the pleasure of being treated by Guy at Duality in Newry, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care I received. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. Guy's expertise and dedication to his patients are truly remarkable. Throughout my scan, Guy demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge and a genuine passion for his work. He took the time to thoroughly explain my results and the various treatment options available, ensuring that I felt informed and confident in the deciding the best treatment. His compassionate approach and attentive listening made me feel valued and understood as a patient. Guy's commitment to providing personalized care is evident in every interaction. He tailored my treatment plan to suit my specific needs, and his attention to detail was impeccable. I appreciated his willingness to answer all my questions and address any concerns I had, no matter how small. The results of my treatment have been outstanding, and I am incredibly grateful for Guy's expertise and support. His dedication to his patients' well-being is truly commendable, and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking top-notch healthcare. Thank you, Guy, for your exceptional care and for making a positive difference.

Brilliant service. Really good help and advice from the doctors here on several occasions we've needed to bring our kids.

I attended a GP appointment for the first time today and to say I am disappointed is an understatement. While the GP was perfectly nice, when I first called up to make an appointment (due to the utterly confusing nature of the website and no knowledge of what to book) I called and was advised I needed to attend an in person appointment. I attended said appointment this morning, to be charged £75 for 15 minutes. In addition I was advised the issue could be down to anything, which arguably is information I already knew? In addition, when I booked the appointment I wasn’t actually told how expensive the appointment would be or that there was a cheaper option to have a phone call for £49? I’m quite unimpressed and I can’t say I’ll be back.

I had an excellent experience with Duality. I’d been unable to hear out of one ear for over a week and struggled to get an appointment anywhere in Belfast. I managed to book on a Thursday and was seen the very next day. From the moment I arrived, I felt really well looked after—the team was chatty, professional, and genuinely caring. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. My only regret is not coming here sooner! We need a Duality clinic in Belfast!

I attended an appointment for a joint ADHD and Autism assessment referral at the Galgorm branch on February 12. Dr Harkin seemed great, I felt heard, and was told I'd be referred for the joint assessment. The same evening I got a very impersonal email as follows: Good evening, I just wanted to let you know as per your appointment this afternoon with one of our Doctors, unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to do a referral for an ADHD diagnosis through Spectrum life. For the mean time Spectrum life has stopped ADHD referrals but still are doing autism diagnosis. We can offer you an ADHD referral through Kingsbridge instead, if this is ok. Please let us know if you would still like to go forward with both referrals or if you would just like to go for one or the other. Apologies for this inconvenience, I wasn't told this would be the case either when phoning to ask about an appointment (where I was told it has to be in person even though the website states it can be virtual) or during the appointment. Disregarding the fact that separate assessments may come to double the cost, a joint assessment means overlaps in potential symptoms are taken into consideration. As my sole reason for going through Duality was because of the option of a joint assessment - which is still advertised on the website - I responded back and asked if there is no other options for a joint assessment. I received no response. I have emailed back to ask for an update, still with no response. I phoned the clinic and when finally getting through after a couple of attempts with no one picking up, was told this was "probably new" and they may not have known when I booked the appointment. Again, I pointed out that it's on their website. I didn't get any response if it's possible with a joint assessment elsewhere, so I asked if it's possible to get a refund of the £75 fee for the 15 min GP appointment, which I wouldn't have booked had I known this. I was told someone from management would contact me shortly and made sure to confirm my contact details. Two days later, nine days after the appointment, I have still heard nothing, either in response to my emails or my phone call. While I can understand that it's not Duality's fault if Spectrum no longer do these assessments, it is the clinic's responsibility to keep themselves up to date. For me it meant throwing £75 down the drain, nevermind the personal difficulty in trying to go for a diagnosis as an adult. The real issue though - the lack of responses, service and, frankly, interest is atrocious and unacceptable. I would strongly recommend avoiding this clinic entirely. Update: I have since gotten a refund for the appointment after about a month, but still no communication whatsoever so no answer to what I actually asked following the message above. I do appreciate the refund, but would still not recommend the clinic due to the lack of communication.
