This clinic is extremely business-oriented. They made me pay a deposit on the phone for only making an appointment to see a GP as a new patient, and when I needed to cancel the appointment because I wasn't to able to attend, they refused to reimburse me the 20e deposit claiming the deposit was non-refundable (they never mentioned this on the call) according to their new patient policy, that's how it works. The fees to see a doctor are excessive and so are their fees for tests. They don't do referrals to outside clinics.
I understand the lack of GPs available these days, but a health clinic should give a more flexible and supportive treatment to patients.
Dr Nada Yassir was very punctual and approachable. She was thorough in her examination and clearly explained my results and the next steps. I appreciated how she listened to my concerns and provided valuable advice.
The two ladies at the reception are quite pleasant and helpful .
Overall I had a positive experience and would highly recommend Dame Street clinic to anyone seeking a reliable and caring Gp.
I went to this clinic for a blood test over a month ago, and I am still waiting for my results. I’ve contacted them twice for an update, and both times I was told that the sample is still “under analysis.” When I asked for an estimated timeframe, they said they didn’t have one. How is this possible? Blood test results should typically be available within two weeks at most.
I was prescribed two different contraceptive pills, and both caused me a lot of problems, including very strong headaches. They never changed them. I don’t recommend going there — there’s no professionalism, and I felt like they don’t listen to you. When I asked Dr. Nada to change my pill, she refused.
Just rang to ask could doctor send a prescription for one item I ran out of and want to charge me another 70 euro to not even see the doctor just to send prescription to chemist
I have attended Dame Street Medical Centre on two occasions. The reception staff are superb from the moment you walk in; most helpful, so polite and very attentive.
I saw Dr Nada on my first visit and she was so professional, present and thorough in all aspects of my consultation. She spent almost an hour with me in a very relaxing environment and wanted to be sure all my concerns were addressed. I highly recommend her especially for females.
On my second visit, I saw Dr. Khashan. He was also very professional and polite and took his time to listen and address my concerns. Another very successful visit to Dame Street Medical Centre right in the heart of town. You can get a same day appointment and be assured you will receive top class professional care.

A friend of mine recommended this medical center so I made an appointment. The receptionist was very friendly and informative. While waiting to be called I did some work and just needed to send it off to my boss. When I was called to the GP room I politely informed and apologised to her that I just need a second to send the message off to my boss. She immediately told me she’s very busy and I should come back another time because she’s got other appointments. There were literally no one waiting to be seen but me. I apologise again and quickly sent off the message and close my work laptop, it only took 2 seconds, I literally just need to press “Enter”. Not a great start. Then I told her I have two lumps on my neck and I am very worry about because it comes and goes for more than half year. She did not even take a look. I told her about other issues and she just told me that I need to go to my GP (?!) and request for a blood test. If I have a GP why would I make an appointment with them?!
I show her the dry spots on my legs which are there for a good few years and has becoming worse and discoloured in the last 6 months. First thing she said is that I need to moisturised the area…like I didn’t already tried.
The whole visit took about only 10mins. She did not ask questions to diagnosis, didn’t feel like she even tried. When I went out of her office, there was no one but me, no other patients, and according to her she was “very busy”.
We all work hard to make a living and to afford to see a GP when there are health concerns. And she does not even have 2 seconds to be decent. Nor was she empathetic or show any care.
Charging €70 for 10mins consultation and was given a bad attitude for no good reason. Worst GP ever. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! AVOID if you genuinely have health concerns.
The biggest mistake of mine is that I did not walk out right away because I really wanted to be checked and get some advises. And it’s very hard for me to take time off work to see a GP, I really made an effort to this appointment. I felt very upset after the visit.
If I wasted her precious 2 seconds then she wasted my precious hard earned €70.
Great doctor, really informative and knowledgeable and lovely staff. She was recommended to me by a mate and I was not disappointed. They're all very professional, yet empathetic. Will be coming back (but hopefully I won't need to)
