I saw all the reviews complaining about how their reception is managed but unfortunately I took a chance it would ok. Made an appt over the phone and was asked to email my personal details over which I did twice. I also called twice to make sure they had the email. I took time off work to attend the appointment and when I arrived I'm told there was no Doctor there and they didnt get my email. They couldnt of have been less helpful on reception and clearly didnt care. Clown Show. Avoid.
Very Good and Helpful Doctors. I'm a Patient of theirs since 2012. Whole reception should be changed because they do not provide real information for the patients and they rather lie than tell you approximate time and even if they do they force you to IRL meetings. I was supposed to get a phone call from Dr.Ricardo at 11Am and was waiting whole day to get no response. Dr.Ricardo is a professional unlike the Reception Ladies who pretend to be trustworthy but they use deception to trick patients into very long waiting lists. Also I wanted to mention that waiting times are absolutely horrendous and this service has 0 adaptability, outdated methods and most likely insecure systems. In 2025 everything is sorted online while they 10 years behind LULZ.

Hopefully Reception team reads this and will be changed to more professional ASAP.
I contacted them three times during a day and when the egoistic lady picked up. I already knew I'm not gonna get phonecall. Please HSE have a look on this Centric Health and do rapid changes. I'm also gonna contact their network providers as it seems they have data breach in their systems.
Overpriced services.
0 tolerance towards mentally unstable patients.
Whole Reception Team should be replaced with 2015-2020 receptionists.
I give 5 stars to the doctors and Reception desk should have less than 1 star.

Attended for an apt recently, the receptionist on the phone and on arrival was vey friendly and welcoming. I explianed my issue and was offered an apt that day.
The doctor was very thourough and advised an ECG which the nurse was able to right away.
Very quick turn around for people who needed care.

There’s no better place to check your health than at Applewood Medical. When I called last week the administrator on the phone was so kind, helpful and managed to fit me in for an on the day appointment. When I met with the doctor I felt cared for and listened to when explaining my symptoms, because of my medical history the doctor recommended the nursing team to preformed some observations then I was advised I would need to attend the hospital for urgent care. I have now been discharged from hospital and feeling so much better and wanted to thank the team at Applewood Medical for the patience and care they provided me with last week while unwell.

I had a great experience with this clinic from the very first contact. Dr. Barbara genuinely cares about helping you with your issues! The administrative staff is very helpful, and I didn't have to wait for my appointment at all.
I highly recommend this clinic!
Just like a previous reviewer said, I’m also sick and tired of waiting over an hour to see the doctor. I arrived on time today and after half an hour I asked what the story was, I was told there is 2 people ahead of me and that Conor is always late like it’s my fault. patients should be notified if he’s late. And it’s not good enough that he’s always late. This happens every single time I go there. This isn’t to mention that 2 patients who arrived after me were seen before me. I’ve been going there nearly 10 years and I’ve had enough now I won’t be going back.
I emailed a month ago about a refund for a vaccine appointment that had to be rescheduled and they ignored it.
I asked about it in person yesterday and was very coldly told by the receptionist they will ‘speak to the manager,’ no apology about not responding to my email and trying to keep my money. When I asked how long this would take, the receptionist refused to give me any reassurances it would be dealt with soon or with any sense of priority. Disgraceful treatment by all accounts.
Don’t book appointments with these people online because you have to pay in order to book and if you have to cancel, they will make it as difficult as possible to get your money back!
From my experience Applewood Medical Centre is the best health centre in Swords. From the girls in reception to the Doctors I have always felt they go above and beyond each time I have an appointment. I would highly recommend this surgery.
