The most incompetent people I’ve ever experienced. I waited weeks for an MRI ( which is fine I understand). When the day came and I took the half day off work, travelled from city centre to Tallaght, checked in and was waiting in the waiting room, the woman called me by my middle name which caused confusion. They then asked if I had any new tattoos. I did. I was told i needed to reschedule. How could I not have been told this earlier? The woman behind the counter told me she rescheduled me for the 4th August. Today I just realised I never got confirmation email for it and called them only to find out it hadn’t been rescheduled. So now I have it 5th August. Dealing with this when you just want your injury fixed really has a toll on mental health! Do better.
I went in to see if I could get an appointment, and the receptionist Nidi was incredibly helpful. She arranged an appointment for me immediately and was so sweet and kind throughout the entire process. The radiographers were just as lovely very professional, friendly, and reassuring during the scan. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciated the excellent care and would highly recommend this place
I was referred from my GP for a MRI and a Scan. After 15 days I received a message to book my exams. I have completed the instructions form and waited. Nothing. A week later I decided to do again. Waited more few days. Tjey called me on a Saturday morning and I manage to book with them on the 28th of April for the 28th of May. A month waiting for the exams. On the 27th of May afternoon, they called me saying they would have to reschedule one exam for Friday afternoon. Ok. What can I do, have to reschedule. Went for the next day exam and for the Friday exam, I had a situation where my kid was off school and I ended up forgetting my appoiment. Called to explain next day and asked to rebook. I was told I need another referral fo my exam because I haven't shown up for this one. So they feel its ok to reschedule on the day before, something I was waiting for a month, and the reschedule wasn't even 24h before, like they ask us, patients for a rebooking. But now, I cant rebook my appointment because life happens for everybody and affidea apparently can do what they want. I was waiting for 30 days, but lacks understanding when something happens with the patient. Now they have my referral, it was just rebook. I find very difficult to believe you cant rebook a exam. If they understand its been long time, its because of them! Rebook patients should be efficient and relatively easy. Very disapointted.
I am sad with the degradation of the service from Affidea when I needed them this time. On previous occasions service was ok, but this time it took an immense about of time to get my appointment for a simple X-ray; then the person booking me in over the phone said they had a cancellation, to them offer me a multitude of time options, showing clearly that it was not a cancellation but that they had plenty of openings and the time it took on my booking was last a mistake from them.
Once at the clinic, I found the receptionist unfriendly, and it took 30+ minutes after my scheduled time for them to finally call me, for an exam that later for no more than 5 minutes. I hope the results will come on the promised time.
Worst of all is that the GP is unable to refer you to any other places, looks like Affidea has a monopoly for private imaging services in this area, what a shame.
I had an excellent experience at Affidea thanks to the wonderful receptionist Nidi She was warm, professional, and extremely helpful from the moment I arrived. She handled everything efficiently, answered my questions with patience, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. It’s refreshing to meet someone so kind and dedicated when you are stressed for your appointment she truly sets a great example of customer care. Thank you
I had a CT scan at the clinic and the experience was wonderful. The receptionist Nedi was so helpful and kind, even during a busy time, helping me with forms and offering water. The radiographers were also fantastic. I felt very well cared for throughout
Affidea Tallaght uncontainable by phone, didn’t answer emails. Chat went for a break and never came back! Then on day of appointment the receptionist should enter the person with the least manners competition, she’d be a shoo in. On a positive note, the radiologist and his staff couldn’t have been nicer. Very professional and helpful.
As someone currently battling cancer every medical appointment carries emotional weight, i was anxious and overwhelmed. however Nidi she made me feel welcomed and even she made me laugh, for a little while i forgot about my worries that says everything!
Seeing so many reviews about her, i am not surprised to see how many people appreciate her, Healthcare needs more people like her!
