This was my first GP appointment since coming to the UK, and it had been two years since I last saw a doctor. I was a bit nervous, but the whole experience was really positive.
Dr. Deepika Patel was amazing. She made me feel comfortable straight away, listened to me carefully, and was very kind and professional. I truly appreciated her support.

I would like to commend Sara from reception for her excellent service. Sara was friendly, patient, and calm, and went above and beyond to help my dad secure an appointment, making him feel valued as a patient. This level of care reflects very well on the practice.
I would also like to make a special mention of Dr Sobida, a caring and compassionate doctor who always puts my father at ease.
My 5 star review is for Stacey alone. I recently registered with this gp. There was a little issue and the lady i spoke to previously couldn’t find my registration. Stacey found me in the system and booked a phone call with a doctor for me. Unfortunately I felt rushed trough the conversation I had with the doctor but Stacey was amazing at explaining to me everything I have to do. She made sure to check all the information twice and didn’t rush me.

Dr Bachlani has restored our faith in the system. She has taken the time and showed great understanding when dealing with the challenges our mum faces. She is a credit to the Surgery. We appreciate the time taken to talk to us face to face and ensure all of our concerns were addressed and making sure things are being followed up.
Stanley Corner Medical Centre delivers an exceptional standard of care. The doctors are highly professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to their patients’ wellbeing. Every interaction feels thorough and reassuring, with clear communication and thoughtful treatment. The service is consistently impeccable appointments run smoothly, staff are courteous, and the overall environment is welcoming and efficient. A truly outstanding practice that sets a high benchmark for patient care.
Very nice practice. The staff welcomes you well all the time and explains the procedures. The doctors are also compasionate and good. They try to resolve your problem and send you for further testing or treatment. My partner had an infection problem in the past. We went to a private clinic first, they were not so good to be honest as no treatment was given. We booked an appointment at Stanley Corner and he was seen within the same week. They took a sample test and again, in the shortest period of time was given treatment. Moreover he was sent for a scan to the hospital to make sure he is ok. Another sample test confirmed the infection was cleared. Hands down, great approach to care.
I am disappointed with the way appointment times are managed at this medical centre. On several occasions, despite arriving on time, I have been asked to wait between 30 to 40 minutes before being seen.
However, when I arrived approximately 10 minutes late — and still within 20 minutes of my scheduled appointment time — my appointment was cancelled immediately and I was informed that it would need to be rescheduled. Unfortunately, I was not subsequently offered a new appointment.
While I fully understand the importance of punctuality, I would appreciate a more balanced and considerate approach, particularly given the extended waiting times patients are often asked to accept. Greater consistency and clearer communication would significantly improve the overall patient experience.
This morning I visited my GP, and I was very pleased with the experience. Arranging a time slot for the appointment was smooth and straightforward. Both the GP and the reception staff were engaging, attentive, and very helpful.
