One of my initial reasons for moving to Specsavers Morningside was that I felt I was being pressurised into buying glasses with expensive, but not particularly attractive and ageing frames by my previous optician.
I'm so glad I did move!
All the staff at Specsavers have been excellent and the service has been first rate, whether for a routine or emergency appointment. The store may have been busy but I have never been rushed.
And I can have 3 pairs of glasses if the frames are inexpensive!
All of the staff I interacted with here were very kind. I was taken back quickly and my appointment didn't last too long. The whole office was very clean and the team ran like a well-oiled machine. I just wish there would have been a good place to hang my wet rain jacket!
The staff were absolutely amazing. Hannah & Chloe were fantastic in assisting and accommodating a last-minute urgent appointment for my Dad after another branch advised they were unable to see him as we were running just over 10 minutes late to our initial appointment due to traffic.
I then contacted the Morningside branch, and Hannah went above and beyond to ensure my Dad was still seen the same day due to the urgent nature of his symptoms.
Thank you to Hannah for assisting in what was a very stressful situation, and thank you also to Chloe, the optician, who was calm, understanding and incredibly reassuring throughout the appointment, which made the situation feel much more manageable.
The staff team at Morningside fitted me in on a Saturday afternoon for an urgent appointment when they were clearly very busy. They gave me a thorough eye examination and subsequent care and advice. I was reassured by the optician and never felt rushed or like I was adding to their busy schedule. Their care and attention is excellent. I am so grateful to all concerned. Thank you.
Everything was great. The optician was very good with my son during the eye test, particularly given we learned he needed his first pair of glasses. We were given great advice when looking at frames and everyone was very helpful when discussing the next steps and arranging the follow-up appointment to collect the new glasses. We particularly appreciated the optician taking his time to ensure the glasses were sitting well on my son's ears and nose and making sure they were as comfortable as possible. My son was really positive leaving the store and we really appreciate how everything went from start to finish. Thanks again!
From the reception to the actual eye test, the staff was extremely friendly
and the process was very straightforward. Both m friend and I were very pleased with the service as always. Ehsan, was very helpful and answered all my questions and alos provided reassurance about my eye health. I would 100% recommend this service to everyone and would visit it again myself. Also, the staff was not pushy about me getting a frame from their service which made it even
better.
Excellent care. I had developed a problem with my eye which, after triage with another of your branches, was deemed as urgent. An appointment was made with the Morningside branch. I was early for my appointment, but I was greeted by a friendly assistant who said you'd be able to see me earlier. I was seen by Optometrist Ehsan Khan who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was kind, reassuring, thorough, and provided an excellent explanation of his examination and concerns. He contacted the hospital urgent care team and arranged an appointment for me within a couple of hours. As a result, I have a diagnosis and treatment has commenced with a follow up appointment in a couple of weeks. Please pass on my thanks to Ehsan, I am very grateful.

There’s a genuinely kind and relaxed atmosphere here, and it’s clear the team takes real pride in their service. It’s rare to feel this looked after during what could easily be a rushed or impersonal appointment elsewhere. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for great eye care and customer service.
