My dentist - Mr Pitt has seen me through a range of procedures from fillings to implants. He is patient, kind, welcoming, has a great sense of humour & always takes an interest in me. His dentistry is superb & has kept me smiling for nearly 30 years. A testament in itself!
His dental nurse & receptionist are great & will go the extra mile to make sure I get the treatment & appointments I need.

This place is just brilliant. Switched to Denplan and this practise a few years ago after repeated bad experiences at another local dental practise, and it has proved to be the best decision.
The dental hygienist’s are always thorough, friendly and punctual. My oral health had improved so much since seeing a hygienist every three months.
And the dentist we see, well, she is EPIC. Lorna is welcoming, utterly professional and a joy to be around.
She successfully extracted two teeth for my son a while back previous to a brace fitting (he was only 13 at the time) and she handled it like an absolute pro. No tears or panic from my son (after months of anxiety and worry about having it done.) She even got one out without him noticing!
I’ll never go anywhere else now. Highly recommended.
Update: just had my first wisdom tooth extracted by myself. They put me at ease. No pain. Great after care bundle and chat afterwards. Really helpful and friendly people. I feel like I can trust them and they know what they’re doing! Would recommend to others.
First experience was a consultation. The consultation was quite expensive, around £125. The practice is pleasant enough with nice interior design, furniture and soft furnishings. The staff were welcoming and accomodating, I was running late from work and thankfully I was still able to be seen - I wasn't made to feel worse about this! I will be having a specialist wisdom tooth extraction with them and I have confidence the dentist will do a good job - when I have my treatment I'll update my review! They had good availability with their appointments and booking in was a very straightforward process.
Lorna and her team are awesome fearfully of dentists but Lorna soon puts you at ease.from reception onwards the team at the pines are world class going above and beyond your expectations.
A warm welcome greets you every time.

Today I had appointments with the hygienist and a checkup with the dentist. It was busy today but the receptionists were still friendly, cheerful and kept us informed. I am always aware that because of mobility issues, all my appointments have to be on the ground floor which means people have to swap rooms to accommodate me. This is never a problem and I left very happy with my treatment.
Well, I had a wisdom tooth extraction at the royal glamorgan on Tuesday of this week.
They sent me home without a gauze or anti-biotics incase of infection.
Surprise- I have an infection and my face is very swollen and painful.
Rhiwbina dental practice fitted me in straight away this morning and prescribed anti biotics along with an inspection of my mouth.
Such a beautiful practice, and such wonderful staff.
They were all so professional- alongside , so friendly and welcoming.
Many thanks to kirsty, Ellie, hayley for putting me at ease and helping me to relax as I have a real fear of dental procedures.
Then many thanks to Muhammed and Rob for the prescription and for seeing me at such short notice.
Then on my way out of the car park- Ellie come out with an ice pack for my swollen face which I believe was sent out by kirsty.
I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.
