I’ve been to Parkview Surgery Healthcare Centre a couple of times. At first, when I saw that the decorations and interior looked a bit old, I was worried that the service might not be great. But I was completely wrong.
From the reception staff to Dr. Omar, everyone treated me with kindness, care, and respect. They really took the time to listen to me, understand my concerns, and address my problems properly. I never felt rushed, and I felt genuinely heard and supported.
I truly appreciate the level of care I received and I’m very thankful to the whole team. I would definitely recommend this GP surgery. It just shows that you can’t judge a place by its appearance — what really matters is the quality of service and care they provide.
I am extremely disappointed and upset by the treatment I received at this GP practice today.
I booked an appointment because my baby suffers from severe eczema, is constantly scratching, and is unable to sleep properly due to the intense itching. I also needed a repeat prescription for Neocate formula because our supply is almost finished.
The female GP I saw was rude, dismissive, and showed no interest in understanding my concerns. As English is not my first language, I had carefully prepared a translated explanation before the appointment so I could clearly communicate my baby's symptoms. Instead of reading it, she refused to look at it and ignored what I was trying to explain.
After only 3–4 minutes, she told me to leave, saying that I was taking up too much of her time. She did not properly assess my baby's condition, did not ask about the eczema, itching, or sleep problems, and offered no advice or treatment.
What hurt me the most was the way I was treated. I felt completely dismissed, ignored, and judged because of my language difficulties. I came to the appointment worried about my baby's health and hoping for help, but instead I was made to feel like a burden.
I was so humiliated, hurt, and distressed that I broke down crying uncontrollably. I left the room sobbing while carrying my baby in my arms. I felt deeply ashamed, helpless, and heartbroken. As a mother seeking help for her child, I have never felt so vulnerable and unsupported in a medical setting.
To make matters worse, the GP initially refused to provide the repeat prescription for my baby's Neocate formula and only issued it after I was already leaving in tears.
Every patient deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect, regardless of their language ability or background. Sadly, this was one of the most upsetting healthcare experiences I have ever had.
Prompt appointment even early! Very good attention, listening and interested and examination was thorough with helpful surgestions if treatment is unsucessful during this week (contact surgery). Appt. made for followup next week. My faith in Parkview caring has been increased by 100%! Thank you.
Then again today, was dissapointed to find, having been seen at Beckenham for an infected cyst removal success today, I could not get an appountment for 27th April at Parkview for the dressing and packing removal as requested by the Beckenham doctor so now we're at 1 star for service and lack of understanding at reception.!
Rasheedah took time to deal with my after surgery care.
She explained everything clearly and made sure that the healing process would not be too uncomfortable.
Rasheedah does take the care of her patience seriously.
The staff are very pleasant here.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Parkview surgery for the caring and their proactive step taken by referring me to the hospital to investigate the lump. I am so impressed that the same week I transferred from Torridon surgery to your practice and was the same week that a GP saw me. As a result she referred me to the hospital. So far I have done scan to determine what sort of lump. This was what took me four and half years trying to see a GP at Torridon surgery but to no avail and now it has taken me less than a week from registering with your pratice to seening a GP. Well done for your good work and also your costumer care is very good. Once again I appreciate all of you for saving my life. Many thanks.
Amazing doctors. Lovely reception staff. Really caring service. Especially the female doctors are exceptional. Dr. Jaimala is very caring and helpful. Only issue is the appointments are running late by 15-20+ minutes all the time. It is the case all over London though. Not this surgery in particular but it is frustrating and can mess with people's schedule. Overall caring service that is quite understaffed as the demand is extremely high. Gold star for the staff. But needs more doctors.
Absolutely wonderful staff. I got an appointment based on urgency. The triage link works great. The most impressive thing is how fast they communicate with hospitals regarding prescriptions. I got my hospital prescription without ever needing to contact the surgery in a day.
Very pleased. Thank you Parkview Surgery.
Good listening skills doctors. Most receptionists are nice. Well selected incorporated systems for example Robot Vital Signs machine, though the arm band was a little tight on the machine. Waiting time is not long. Practice needs expansion (building (- A bit too crowded, for me, at times.
