All the staff were so helpful and welcoming. Felt so at ease during the tests. Took about 2 hours for the full assessment. Unfortunately as I just started needing reading glasses recently, I wouldn’t benefit from lense replacement yet, but to re-assess my circumstances again in 12 months.
Had previously had lasik laser surgery 13 years ago with Optical Express, has been perfect since for everything, until just a few months ago I needed to get a small reading glasses prescription. Can still see 2 lines better than 20/20 👌🏽
I had laser eye surgery with two Lens replacements at Optical Express one week ago and I honestly couldn’t be happier — my vision is amazing already! Everything went so smoothly from start to finish.
The staff were absolutely lovely and made me feel completely at ease throughout the whole process. They explained everything clearly and were so reassuring, which really helped calm any nerves. The clinic itself was beautiful, clean, and very professional.
I would definitely recommend Optical Express to anyone thinking about laser eye surgery. If you’re struggling with your vision, just go for it — it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
I have just had my one month checkup after Lens Replacement surgery, resulting in 20/20 vision.
I would like to thank Dr Huba Kiss & all the team. Optometrist, Patient Advisors & not forgetting the Receptionist, for their care & making me feel calm on the day of my surgery.
I would certainly recommend them highly.
From beginning to end of my cataract surgery the team at Optical Express were exceptional. The eye exams were very thorough and staff took time to explain the procedure to me and answer my endless questions. From reception staff to the surgeon my care was outstanding. 4 weeks post surgery and I am still amazed by the improvement in my vision.
Brandon, Brandon Brandon what a star, my mum had a first appointment for surgery and it didn't go ahead as she was really nervous and needed sedated, today we returned and Brandon was outstanding he looked after her all the way through and put her at ease, he also took the time to come and update me whilst sitting in the waiting room on her progress before and after surgery

Had a consultation appointment a couple of days ago. Was super nervous but everyone from the receptionist right through to the Optometrist were lovely. Particular thanks to Matthew who did all the scans and questions and Paul the Opto - both were really pleasant and reassuring. At no time did I feel any "hard sell" pressure to sign up. I'm going back in 2 weeks to have both eyes sorted out and, whilst I'm still a little bit nervous, having gone through every aspect of the treatment with me, I feel a lot more confident going back for the procedure. Would definitely recommend, the service is tremendous, super professional without being unduly stiff or formal and the range of options is bound to cater to any requests
Optical Express have been fantastic from start to finish. From the initial contact to the consultations, surgery and aftercare. Staff are so friendly and helpful and explain everything and make you feel at ease. Would 10/10 recommend, I now have better than 20/20 vision!
