As someone who suffers with major dental anxiety having a new face can be really daunting, especially when needing to have work done. I have to say it was only my 2nd time meeting Pravesh and having to have dental work completed he was brilliant, he understood my anxiety and reminded me to breathe through it, allowing me time to relax. When my music failed to work he even put the radio on to help me which was a great comfort, thankyou.
A shout out to my Hygienist Anita too who is always fab with me when having my check ups, knows my routine to keep me relaxed. Truly grateful to all the staff at Isca Dental :)
My first experience of a private dental since recently moving into the area, and the staff are: friendly, informative and professional. I had a very thorough check up with a friendly, knowledgable and informative dentist. The dental nurses were helpful and polite, as were the reception team. I was booked in for a filling which was able to be booked for only a couple of weeks later and my treatment was completed promptly. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this service.
I have always been extremely happy with everything about this practice. This week, however, I have not experienced the previous service. Had to make 2 phone calls (messages left), with no return calls. Eventually tried an email and got emergency appointment the following day(5 days after my first phone call). I assumed I would have a replacement filling. However, I was asked to wait 2 weeks for an appointment with current pain. When I said this was not able to go through this for 2 weeks, I was then offered an appointment for 6 days time whilst in pain. Not the care and service i previously have received.
I had a really good experience with Dr Robert at Isca Dental. I had two fillings done and honestly felt very comfortable throughout the whole appointment.
Dr Robert was very calm, patient, and reassuring, which made a big difference for me. He explained what he was doing, took his time, and made sure I was okay at every step. I never felt rushed, and the care and attention he gave really stood out.
The treatment itself was smooth and pain-free, and I felt well looked after from start to finish. I genuinely felt like the dentist cared about doing the job properly and about my comfort.
I would definitely recommend Dr Robert and Isca Dental to anyone looking for a professional, kind, and reassuring dentist.
I had a routine dental check-up and hygienist appointment and my experience was excellent from start to finish. From the first contact with reception to the dentist and hygienist, everyone was friendly, professional and very helpful.
As someone with a busy schedule, flexibility and efficiency are very important to me. I contacted them on Thursday, 5th March, and was able to get both appointments on Monday, 9th, which I really appreciated. When you are paying privately, quick and flexible service makes a big difference.
Both the dentist and hygienist were thorough, professional and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit.
Previously I was with Malpas Dental, and my experience there was very different – long waiting times, little flexibility with appointments, and sometimes a rude reception in what felt like a very busy NHS-style environment. That’s not what you expect when paying privately for a service, so Isca Dental Practice is definitely a much better fit for me.
I had veneers done by justin and constantly had issues with them falling off and kept re putting the wrong shades in. It got to the point he had to do them so much that I ended up losing my front tooth due to him shaving it to short. I have now gone to another dentist and they have done my veneers perfectly and when they scanned my teeth my veneers were all lose and not in correctly and also he shaved my teeth to low. But the new dentist im with has corrected them. I will not be returning and do not recommend.
Something changed, Justin is not there anymore. My filling got out and the ladies at the reception booked me in 25 days!!!
I called to private dentist in Newport and I got an appointment in next day morning.
I think it's time for change, unfortunately.
I phoned today to see if the dentist could see me( as my crown had come out right at the front. )The receptionist was very helpful and said she could fit me in at 3pm today. The dentist was very helpful and explained different options for me.many thanks.
