My girlfriend Shirley had to seek an emergency dental appointment for a broken tooth on June 8 upon arriving in Edinburgh at the start of our trip. Upon phoning the clinic, she was able to see a dentist that afternoon. The clinic is very centrally located and was within walking distance of our hotel. She saw the lovely Dr. Wadood Ur Rehman, who diagnosed the issue and recommended two options; one a temporary repair and the other a permanent repair and filling. She opted for the permanent filling as we didn't want an issue with the tooth somewhere in the middle of the highlands. Dr. Rehman was very knowledgeable and repaired the tooth in an hour! He virtually saved our trip from a lot of anxiety. The staff and Dr. Rehman were professional and very helpful. We highly recommend the clinic and Dr. Rehman!
I had truly the worst toothache of my life, and within the space of a late afternoon (4.15 - 7pm) I have been diagnosed, and then had a surgery that essentially involved removing 2 teeth including a wisdom. The proceedure was as painless as you could hope for - the anesthetic injections were the most painful part. The staff are friendly, helpful and informed. And the dental surgeon I had in particular was absolutely excellent. A lovely lady, who really put my mind at ease throughout the whole thing. And is obviously very talented at her job, as I am sitting at home now, not even really feeling like I need the painkillers, which is pretty mindboggling tbh.
This was all on a Saturday. And the Saturday before Christmas, no less. It's fairly pricey on the private side of things, though they also offer NHS patients service as well I think... But at the end of the day, the service they are providing, at the speed they are providing it at, is top drawer, regardless of the price.
Though I hope Im never in this situation again, I wouldnt hesitate to go back to FSDC for any dental emergency. Thanks guys, you've saved Christmas for me!
Been attending this practice for years as a mostly private patient and would highly recommend. Dr Wadood Ur Rehman and Diana are always friendly, professional and great at what they do. On one occasion I had a small aftercare issue (a bit of bad luck) and the practice resolved it perfectly and professionally.
I had an amazing experience with Diana, I would highly recommend her. My recent treatment was pain free and Diana made me feel very comfortable and relaxed, through her caring and compassionate nature. I cannot thank her enough for making me feel confident with my smile, I have never felt more confident because she has done such an outstanding job! Thank you so much!
The staff are always friendly and helpful and the surgery is bright and cheerful. The dentist is brilliant, he always make my visit as painless and relaxing as visiting a dentist can be! He offers great advice and is really welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
One of the best NHS dental services I’ve experienced. I was able to get a quick appointment without long waiting times, and the staff were very friendly and professional. The dentist explained everything clearly, made me feel comfortable, and provided excellent care. The clinic was clean, well-organized, and efficient.
