I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Shipman and wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation. From the very beginning, Dr. Shipman was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. He took the time to listen to my concerns, explain everything clearly, and make sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the entire process.
What stood out most was their compassion and dedication to patient care. I never felt rushed, and every question I had was answered with patience and clarity. It’s clear that Dr. Shipman truly cares about their patients’ well-being and strives to provide the highest level of care.
The staff was also excellent—friendly, organized, and always welcoming. They made the entire experience smooth and stress-free, which I truly appreciated.

This was my first visit to see Dr Shipman. He was very knowledgeable, professional and caring. He performed two biopsies and reassures me that he just wanted to be sure that this isn’t cancerous. But most likely I have nothing to worry about. The office staff was great and his assistant Molly was great as well. This team gets 5 Stars!!
This was my first experience in the Pasadena location and they are wonderful from the moment you walk in until you leave. Dr Shipman was great, knew what was wrong and prescribed something to clear it up. I would not hesitate to see him again or to return to this office.
Staff was welcoming as soon as i walked in! The nurse doing the intake was so kind and helpful and made me feel comfortable, once Dr. Shipman came in he was able to answer all my questions and provide me with the most information and broke down for me if i didn’t understand. Overall, wonderful staff and would highly recommend for any skin concerns!
I had a great experience at my recent appointment. PA Maria was outstanding — she listened carefully, explained everything in detail, and made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the entire visit. Her professionalism and compassion truly stood out. Medical Assistant Lydia was also fantastic — she greeted me warmly, was very organized, and made the check-in and prep process smooth and efficient. Both Maria and Lydia worked together seamlessly to make the whole experience positive and stress-free. I truly appreciate the excellent care and attention I received. Highly recommend this team! Today marks my third excellent experience in your office. With every visit I've met exceptional, knowledgeable, caring and professional humans-doctors-nurses-technicians and receptionists. All of the staff I've met today and the 2 previous visits have filled me with hope for the medical industry and for humanity. Thank you. I am always in incredible hands.
I had a great experience here for a cosmetic procedure. Staff was extremely kind and professional despite their internet being down. Shoutout to Dr. Shipman and Matthew for providing great care and making me sure I was comfortable throughout my time there.
I came in to have a Angioma on my nose removed. The staff were friendly. Dr. Shipman ran the 2 options available to remove the Angioma, burning or lasering it off. I chose the latter. Dr. Shipman said it would take 2-3 sessions for it to be fully removed. After the first session, it was 75-80% gone. I just had my 2nd session today and he said that I might not even need the 3rd session. I highly recommend Skin & Beauty Center in Pasadena.
