I've seen other reviewers talk about poor experiences with the admin side and I have to echo this. When booking my appointment, I confirmed with Pure that they were in network with my insurance. However, they booked me with an out of network provider and then told me they booked me with someone in network. If the service had been in network like they claimed over the phone, I would have been charged $0. I was charged a $50 copay in the office and will have to pay an additional $250-300 as a result of this error. I will never be returning.
I also have to echo that the clinic is not size inclusive. The gowns are made of paper and were so small I couldn't close mine, despite just barely being considered plus size. It was humiliating to be in the room with the provider essentially naked. I also have a pretty well-known limitation to the birth control that is safe for me to take, and my provider didn't know what birth control was safe for me and had to look it up on an app.
If you value you’re time, do not come here.

If you’re someone who needs gentle care and support around the vulnerability of an OBGYN visit don’t come here.
Firstly, each time I have come I have been waiting for 50+ minutes in the waiting room. One visit after the waiting room time, I waited 30+ more minutes naked in the visit room. Another visit I arrived 15 minutes early and was still seen 50+ minutes late.
The gowns are flimsy and not size inclusive at all. The visit rooms are minimal, clinical, colorless, silent, and cold. The welcoming nature of the front area does not extend to the visit rooms in any way.
My appointments have been with Dr. Pinard who is polite and respectful, but lacking warmth. I don’t feel that my larger concerns were addressed meaningfully. I did not feel put at or left with a clear plan to address my top priority. Adequate tests were done, referrals were given, and I was our the door. The referral I was given to see a Pelvic Floor Therapist went nowhere. The number they gave me lead to a dead line.
While I will not be returning, what I will say is that all of the phlebotomists that I have seen are excellent. I’m glad that part was stress free.
I had a really great experience at this clinic. The staff is professional, welcoming, and made me feel completely comfortable from start to finish. The provider took the time to listen to my concerns and explain everything clearly. The office is clean, organized, and appointments run smoothly. I truly appreciate the level of care and would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a supportive and knowledgeable OB/GYN team.
I went to Pure OBGYN for pelvic/ovarian pain and possible cyst concerns. The medical care felt thorough and I was able to get imaging done during the visit.
However, the billing process was very confusing with multiple unexpected charges that were not clearly explained upfront, and it took a lot of effort to understand what I actually owed after insurance processed everything.
I also had a poor experience with the billing department, who came across as rude and dismissive when I called with questions.
Overall, good clinical care but poor communication and customer service on the administrative side.
Excellent office. Clean and organized. Polite and friendly front desk. A phone number that actually gets through to a human at the actual location you are calling, rather than a random call center. Online portal to message your doctor directly. I saw Dr. Pilshchik who was wonderful. She is experienced in HRT and took my symptoms seriously. I highly recommend!
Had a great experience at a last minute Sunday appt. Coming from Manhattan, this office was incredibly friendly and patient, more than any doc experience I have had in NYC. Reading the reviews I was a bit worried, but no issues with billing transparency, booking the appointment (though they were running a bit late and were communicative about it), or bedside manner. Dr Alexander Goncharov was actually more thorough than I expected in trying to help me solve my problems.
Best OBGYN I’ve ever been to! They have most kind and professional staff, and are incredibly efficient. They also can take blood right in the office so theres no need for second appointments at other locations, super convenient. 10/10 experience
Today was one of the best OB-GYN visits I’ve ever had. From how easy it was to book, to how clean and welcoming the office felt, everything was great. The doctor actually listened (which is rare!), and every staff member I met was kind and knowledgeable. I left feeling heard and taken care of.
