Amazing. I came in traumatized from a previous root canal experience and Dr. B explained things in great details. The front office support was kind towards everyone. Their patient coordinator, JR, was amazing. I highly recommend them.

I recently had an appointment at Preferred Dental NYC, and I have to highlight the outstanding cleaning I received from Irene. She was incredibly thorough, gentle, and attentive throughout the entire process. Irene took the time to explain each step, which made me feel comfortable and well-informed. Her attention to detail was exceptional—my teeth have never felt cleaner. She was also very considerate, frequently checking in to make sure I was doing okay. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about her patients and takes pride in her work. I had my X-rays done by Gael and the experience was excellent. Gael was professional, efficient, and made the entire process quick and comfortable. He clearly explained what he was doing and made sure I was at ease throughout. X-rays can sometimes feel awkward, but Gael handled everything with care and precision, minimizing any discomfort. His friendly demeanor and attention to detail really stood out. Overall, a smooth and positive experience—I highly recommend Gael for anyone needing dental X-rays! If you’re visiting Preferred Dental NYC, I highly recommend requesting Irene for your cleaning. This was one of the most positive experiences I’ve had at the dentist office. Everyone was pleasant and nice. I didn’t feel uncomfortable. I felt like all my questions and concerns were addressed. And I was thoroughly impressed by my cleaning results with my hygienist Camellia. She was kind patient and made the process very easy. I am very thankful that she did my cleaning and cannot wait to go back to get the rest of my treatment and concerns adressed. Thank you guys so much.

I met with Dr. B and Keith the hygienist and he was amazing. He did a good job with the cleaning of my teeth and Dr. B also did a good work with the exam, she was very thorough and it helped me understand what my dental treatment was. I was with this practice since 1994 and I love coming here. I would recommend this clinic to my friends and family for their dental needs!

Dr. Thakkar was amazing and very gentle in doing the procedure. He is also very kind and makes sure to educate,without invalidation, his patients on the steps to prevent future cavities. The hygienist, Irene, is also very gentle and thorough. The DAs are very welcoming and gentle with taking x-rays. Overall, the entire staff of PDC is very welcoming and kind ensuring that you get the best service they can deliver.

Since the procedures I needed to have done were not covered by my insurance, I was looking for an affordable option outside of Manhattan where I was quoted $10K to do the work I needed. Preferred dental’s office in Queens was the best solution. They quoted me various options and even helped me fund the work with getting me credit and putting me on installments. Dental work is so expensive and the one thing I need since I am very healthy and don’t have high medical bills and prescriptions to pay for. The splurge for this work was so worth it …I am always in front of people and have fashion events and image consulting. I can’t look anything but on point! I am happy that I was able to find them and that the work was great and restored my confidence. I couldn’t afford costly implants and this was a great workaround. The staff is lovely and I enjoy the trek to their office now that I’ve figured out the train/bus route.
