Would give 6 stars if I could - the best optical care in NYC!
I have been trying to figure out why my left eye gets more eyestrain than the right for awhile, and Dr. Lin was very thorough and patient in conducting various tests, and kind enough to do followup visits.
He obviously cares about his patients and takes the time to explain things in detail.
Aaron in the front office is always helpful and friendly.
I highly recommend coming here for your optical needs, and wish I found them sooner!
Fantastic optical care. I have been coming here for over a decade (after hoping around a bunch of other places I felt neutral about). Dr. Lin and the team are fantastic -- you feel cared for, your questions are taken seriously, and there is continuity from appointment to appointment. Their appointments fill up fast so book now if you are on the fence!
This was my first visit to Park Slope Eye, although my children are already patients there. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I felt genuinely cared for and respected. The front office staff was exceptionally professional and welcoming.
My appointment with Dr. Lin was efficient yet very thorough. He took the time to explain my specific condition in detail and walked me through several options we could explore to address it.
On top of all that, the atmosphere in the office is uniquely inviting — a blend of coffeehouse creativity and professional medical care.
I highly recommend Park Slope Eye.
Happy with my first visit. The entire process was smooth. Easy online booking, prompt response from emails. Clean office, spacious waiting room, friendly staff and Dr. Lin saw me on time. The checking was very thorough and the doctor explained things clearly. Efficient and informative! Glad to find this clinic.
This place is the best. I have been going to Dr Lin for years now and I've never had a more engaged or informative eye doctor. The office staff is super nice and helpful. I always run out of contacts and they are so helpful in getting me sample packs until mine come in. The office is really clean and modern and they seem to have the latest technology in terms of eye checking machinery. Sometimes when I go in there is an absolutely gorgeous dog there; those are the best appointments.

Is always a good experience. Dr. Lin is fantastic. I learn new things about how my eyes work and what changes with age. Super helpful. No wait, incredibly friendly staff and the sweetest dog!
Dr. Lin is super talkative and thorough, so you always feel like you’re welcomed and taken care of. He will dedicate time to answer any questions you have and because of this I’ve been going to him for years. The staff is beyond kind and they go above and beyond to help you with any issues that come up - I remember when I damaged my glasses (in no way their fault) and they repaired it for me within the week, on the house. I can’t say enough nice things about Park Slope Eye.
