I usually hate the dentist but this office is great. The front desk, specifically Myla is why I keep coming back. She is a great vibe. She is warm and welcoming and always puts a smile on my face. Thank you so much Myla!

Been coming here for over 20 years, and have always had an amazing experience. They’ve performed my quarterly cleanings and a full set of crowns after a bad accident many years ago. they’ve always been the best dental office and I can’t speak highly enough.

Jason the hygienist is terrific. He is detailed oriented and thorough. He spends time letting me know about potential problem areas and teeth care. Highly recommend! My experience with everyone at Open Wide has been very good.

The staff is knowledgeable, lgbtq friendly, and truly listens to their patients. I had to come here because my previous provider was wanting to send me to a specialist; which felt unnecessary without extreme or constant pain. In the end my filling most likely needed an adjustment. They took their time adjusting the filling which I appreciate beyond measure.

It feels like the welcoming atmosphere this practice had for years has shifted a bit. I really value my regular hygienist, so it was disappointing to schedule with her and then be reassigned upon arrival. That was a concern at my previous dentist as well. I’m hopeful the practice can return to the experience that made it great.

All of the staff at Open Wide Dental are friendly and accommodating, Dr Durisek is professional and a plus are his playlists, the awesome music takes your mind off some of the dental anxiety you might have. Be prepared he sings along lol

Jason is amazing. Highly recommend him! My teeth are super sensitive and he goes all out for me so I don’t feel discomfort. My anxiety is less thanks to him and now I love going to the dentist. Protect Jason at all cost

I first came across Open Wide Dental at Phoenix Pride last summer, I obtained a card from a very nice young woman who answered a couple questions I had. Fast forward to January 2026 I found myself in need of their services, I had a cavity that needed filling as soon as possible, I called and was able to get in rather quickly, once I arrived for my appointment the offices were nicely appointed, filled with art and music not at all clinical or cold, instantly puts you at ease when you walk in, very welcoming (“they even have massage chairs people, massage chairs!”) the staff are amazing a diverse group of men and women very professional friendly and kind, they explain everything to you they’re going to do before they do it and always with an eye toward patient comfort, in fact I was asked if I had any anxiety prior to my appointment so they are very aware of your comfortability and mindset. It’s a thoughtful, well thought out idea. Dr D. Is great, he is thorough, efficient, with a gentle touch that only comes with seasoned experience, I felt safe and cared for while I was there. As a side the music they play is good, if you’re lucky Dr D. will sing a tune or two I found it comforting while in his chair. I had a great first experience and I believe I have found my home for my dentistry needs, I highly recommend Open Wide Dental to anyone who needs a dentist..
