I, Rosalia Caban went on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 to the Broadway office. The staff was amazing especially Missy. The service was excellent, they were professional, efficient and knowledgeable. I was so nervous, but once I went in to have my procedure done, the staff calmed me down, especially Missy. Missy spoke to me and told me what was going to be done and secured me that all was/is well. Awesome, an efficient staff and office. Dr. Nightingale was very professional and knowledgeable. Great experience in this office.
Would absolutely hands-down recommend Dr. Nightingale and his team for PRK surgery! I came in for a consultation last year, and Dr. Nightingale put so much intention and thought into identifying the right procedure for my eyes. I have pretty significant astigmatism and also a less stable cornea, so LASIK didn't end up being an option, but PRK was. His team was so kind, and caring, especially the day of the procedure. I was unmedicated due to some other health considerations, but did not feel any panic or anxiety and the entire surgery lasted about 15 minutes.
Fabulous aftercare, clear instructions, open lines of communication with Dr. Nightingale in case anything came up. I had a couple hiccups in the recovery process, but every time was able to be seen right away when I called. I'm incredibly thrilled with my outcomes, especially since with heavy astigmatism, surgeries aren't always able to correct 100%, but I'm seeing 20/20, and so happy. Thank you again to the Nightingale Team, especially Christine and Dr. Nightingale!
I felt fortunate that my optometrist referred me to Dr. Nightengale when I decided to have cataract surgery. I would encourage anyone who has an eye problem or needs surgery to immediately make an appointment with this practice - it cannot be improved. They are amazing. Dr. Nightengale advised me on choosing the lens that would work best for me, and the entire packet of information that Missy, who schedules surgeries, gave me answered many of my questions. I had such confidence in Dr. Nightengale that I decided to have surgery without a sedative and found the experience interesting and informative. I very much enjoyed seeing Dr. Saxon, who did all of my checkups and exams after surgery; he made me feel relaxed and at home in his office and always explained what he was doing. The people at the front desk are very professional, well organized, and friendly. I love this practice and feel grateful that my optometrist sent me to Nightengale.
Everyone was friendly and well organized! From day one the staff was helpful and explained the treatment well ! There wasn't any stress or worries! They all worked very well! It's not often you find people like this! Especially in NYC!
I had a very positive experience with this ophthalmology practice. I saw Dr. Saxon, who was super nice, explained everything he was doing and best of all, was efficient without anything seeming rushed. I have sometimes felt like eye appointments can take hours but mine started right on time and all the tests and exams were done without a lot of waiting in between. I will continue using this practice and would recommend them to my friends.
I am always well served at this office . The staff is kind. It’s very clean. Most importantly I feel in very competent hands with Dr. Nightingale. He also helped my daughter when she had a serious tear in her cornea- I was very relieved when she went to him and got his level of competence and steady follow up. This is not a stop and shop. It’s a great office.
I have been going here for two years now. I just come for a well check up & prescriptions - The staff is polite, services are quick, and I absolutely love the doctor I see. He’s very thorough, explains everything he is doing, and asks if I have any questions. Their new office is gorgeous too!
I had a procedure done on both eyes at separate times. It was not an elective procedure: though it hadn’t affected my vision and not urgent, it was smart to get it done. I went solely by rating and gut feeling when meeting Dr. Nightingale, and it was a good decision. His staff is very good too: efficient and friendly and the technicians too are kind and very competent. It seems that all has gone very well, and I’m very grateful for that.
