Very frustrating experience. I specifically told the office before scheduling that I was coming for evaluation regarding a DMV tint exemption form due to photosensitivity. Over multiple calls, staff reminded me to bring the form and insurance information and confirmed the doctor would handle it.
After traveling to the office, checking in, completing paperwork, and going through multiple rounds of eye testing, the doctor immediately told me they “don’t do that here.”
This should have been clarified before the appointment was ever scheduled. The staff eventually apologized and said the visit would be voided and not billed to insurance, but the entire experience was a complete waste of time caused by poor communication within the office. FYI
Office is overcrowded and dirty. I scheduled an appointment to get a stye drained at this location. Ladies in the front knew what my visit was for. It was not to an hour and a half later when I was being seen in the back that they finally told me they do not drain it at this location and would have to go to Queens location. Stay away.
This place is always crowded, people on top of people.
The people or workers are very friendly and once you’ve been seen, you get seen one more time than the doctor talks to you.
Always clean too
Very welcoming staff who are Always Amazing and mad chilled with great service . The offices are very clean and makes you feel comfortable they are just all around the best .
I have been to the Jamaica location and this one. This is by far the worst. We arrived for a 12pm surgery at 11:45 a.m., were seen for imaging within 15-20 mins, but were left waiting until 2pm to see the doctor. We had to leave because there was no sign of seeing the doctor any time soon! The wait time for a scheduled appointment was 2-3hrs, maybe more. The receptionist's never had any useful information and clearly didn't want to be there. It's just a highly frustrating experience. Dr. Gregory Stein is great and the staff (and cleanliness) at the Jamaica location are very lovely but the wait times are not ideal both there and here.
We were witnessing people leaving because they had been waiting far too long! Communication needs to be improved around the board. People are taking off work, school etc., to not be met with the bare minimum at a doctors office. It just isn't right. We're unfortunately switching to a different provider.
My daughter and I recently visited Ophthalmology office and was thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism and kindness exhibited by the entire staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The receptionists were efficient and helpful, ensuring all my paperwork was in order quickly.
The nurses and medical assistants were equally courteous and attentive, making sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. They took the time to explain each step of the process, which greatly eased any anxiety I had.
The overall experience was exceptional, and I would highly recommend Ophthalmology office to anyone seeking top-notch medical care. The staff truly goes above and beyond to make their patients feel valued and cared for.
I had a nice visit with the staff…Dr.Tran was there to make it extra nice for me…The staff of females and two guys…one that was dreamy…was very nice and professional…My triage nurse…who examined me initially was very clear and friendly…I even saw one of the busy bees from the other office…My hat goes off to the lady with the braids…She had a very pleasant way about her…she said good morning to all her patients at the register…and at the discharge room…she scheduled ur appointments and gave u a smile and a “have a nice day”…Ppl want to hear those things…Over all it was working…Smaller place …but efficient…Heyyyy…still No Hooks 🪝😏😉
