Great staff with friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Professionalizm was on 10. I walked in and was treated as if I had been coming for treatment for years and I greatly appreciated that. The first lady I encountered was the lady at the front desk and I must say she was so nice and sweet. I really appreciated this because these days, it seems hard to come by. The Doctor ( I can't recall his name), was also very nice and helped me with my situation with professional expertise and was very personable. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone needing a walk-in medical appointment. 👌🏾
Hulai, Natikqua, and Dr. Jackson were amazing. I came in today and check in was smooth and pleasant with Natikqua. My triage process was great with Hulai. Plus her blood draw was painless and efficient. Then Dr. Jackson came in and got me together. He gave me all the information I needed, and made sure I knew what to do once I left the office. I enjoyed my experience here.
Go somewhere else. City MD is right across the street. The medical billing at this place is a nightmare.
I visited ModernMD Urgent Care in January, and at the time I explained that the visit would be 100% covered by my insurance because I know how my plan works, but they insisted that I needed to pay $150 to be seen, and later told me that if my insurance pays the full bill I would be refunded. I decided to pay and deal it with it later. My insurance promptly paid the full balance of my visit within a few weeks and sent me an Explanation of Benefits saying that my responsibility for the visit was $0.
But almost 5 months and many calls to the Billing Department later, they have not refunded me my overpayment. The Human Resources department of my employer wrote to them explaining the issue, I had a three-way call between Aetna and their billing department, and while they have acknowledged the overpayment over the phone, they do not refund me or respond to any emails. I’m writing this review in part because it seems like writing a review may be the only way to get a written response from them.
The shame is, the doctor was actually really good, but unless they fix their billing customer service, you should do yourself a favor and stay away.
Dr. Lenox and her staff were the best experience I have ever had going to any Md. clinic. The compassion, empathy and care I received reminded me of how healthcare once was. Not about the money but all about the patient's wellbeing. To say I was truly grateful for the service I received would be an understatement. This doctor and her staff made me feel as though they actually gave a damn about me. Even after my treatment was over, Dr. Lenox told me I should call her if I needed her. Which I did and she was true to her word. I was having some minor issues and she took great care of me. I just want to say thank you.
10/10! I was supposed to go to the one down the block but I got the location mixed up and I’m glad did! The last time I was at the other urgent care I waited a whole hour to get seen for a drug test!! This location Wayyyy better service. I was seen within ten minutes, very friendly, professional and efficient staff! They even prounounce my name right (I know it’s not a big deal but is to me). The staff also were very informative they know what they’re doing. Overall awesome experience!
Least professional location. 3 days ago came here and had to wait together with all staff 40 minutes since there were “internet issues” and no one could be accepted. The staff said it has been a recurring problem. Really? and no one thought of how much revenue is lost due to not fixing it?
Today, came on time with my son for my appointment. Place was empty but we were asked to wait 45 minutes since “the guy who checks insurance” is on lunch break. Again, nurses and doctor sit doing nothing because of someone’s break... When I pushed back, the lady said “let me see what i can do” and checked us in within seconds (magic). Also, how does it make sense for the “guy” to go on a 45min lunch at 5pm when place closes at 6p.
Service inside once admitted is always top notch
I came here for a school physical and was completely disregarded. I didn’t even get examed, a nurse took my vitals that were a bit abnormal- and the doctor who saw me after wrote down different vitals on my forms to be within the normal range. I also requested that they take a look at my medical exemption forms for vaccinations because of past hospitalizations and they basically told me to go somewhere else. I paid $250 for nothing.
Had a great experience here. Front desk was nice, nurse and Dr Lenox were both very helpful and thorough, and the whole thing took half an hour. Maybe helps I went on a less popular time (Friday morning in a rainstorm), but really was everything I would hope for from an urgent care.
