Came in for an 8 am appt and receptionist ignored us. When we asked to check in she told us to use the kiosk even though I’d already pre-paid and checked in online. Upon further questioning she reluctantly booted up her computer, then told us that the provider was stuck in traffic. At 8:45 am the provider strolled in with a fresh coffee that he’d evidently stopped for. At 8:55 we were finally seen, not even by the provider, but by an assistant. Finally, the provider came in, didn’t even bother doing an exam, just referred us for x-ray. Also, the lights in the waiting area are painfully bright.
If it were any one of these things it wouldn’t be a big deal, but taken together it’s not a good sign. Will try one of the other Medrites next time I need Anthem-covered urgent care.
Needed a screening and rapid tests for upper respiratory infection. Process was quick and seamless from check in to check out. Special shoutout thanks to Eva and Theresa for great bedside manners, making the process informative, responsive and supportive.
Eva was so helpful. She was so kind to my son handled him with so much care and made sure that she gave him The exams he needed to take so that we can uncover what needed to be done for him to feel better. She was so professional… I have seen Eva here for a very long time and I am so happy every time I see her even when I am not feeling my best she makes me feel better when she helps us. I had a really frustrating experience at MedRite Midtown Manhattan. I checked in on time and sat patiently, but then watched multiple people who arrived long after me get called back first. What made it worse was that the staff just ignored me—no one bothered to explain the delay or check in.
I get that urgent cares have to triaged patients based on how sick they are, but a little communication goes a long way. Instead, I was just left sitting there feeling completely forgotten. When you’re already feeling miserable, the last thing you want is to be left in the dark while others skip ahead of you. They advertise quick, convenient care, but the total lack of organization made it feel like my time didn’t matter at all. I ended up leaving incredibly disappointed and wouldn't recommend this location.
My first time and I loved it. Super fast service. I was in/out of the clinic within an hour. Staff was professional and friendly. I was a bit skeptical at first, but I left a huge fan! Thank you 😊
Today was my first time at this location and the medical assistant Leah was very nice and helpful. Although it was very busy and the wait time was really long because there were only two people working. She explained everything so well and was very thorough despite there being many patients. Dr. platzman was also very nice and welcoming and answered all the questions I had. I would recommend this place a million times to anyone !
Had a physical done for work and it was a great experience. Eva the nurse who got me started was quick, efficient, knowledgeable and funny. The doctor was also fast, general and friendly. Place was clean and easy to get to. Glad I chose Medlife
