As I’ve gotten older my fear with going to the dentist only intensified and that’s because of the experiences I’ve had with other dentist. Other dentist I’ve seen seem like they were only looking to bill me rather than help me. Today was my first time visiting Group Health Dental and I had a great experience. Dr. Khafi and his assistant Jose are the Best. Both are knowledgeable and patient also through every step they spoke about what they were doing and why. You don’t get that from many Drs. Looking forward to the treatment plan. The office is clean, the check in was quick and easy. With dental work you know it can be expensive they have payment options if your insurance don’t cover. Thank you Dr Khafi and Jose I’m looking forward to a great relationship. I was able to get both of my fillings done in one session.
The entire staff is very professional, friendly and goes above and beyond with their service. You walk away every time feeling confident that you received the best possible service, and it’s very rare to find that level of consistency nowadays. For my most recent visit, Dr. Islam was very thorough, caring and ensured I was ok throughout my procedure. By far this is one of the best practices I’ve been to.
This is literally the best dental care service I have experienced in my life. The staff was incredible. The treatment was top notch. I am so excited for the help they are providing me with. I cannot wait to smile and feel confident again
I’m. not a big fan of going to the dentist, however after my 2 visits with Group Health Dental, I have to say I will be going for my 6 month and yearly check up’s more consistently. Dr Joseph and Jose worked on my teeth and it was such a pleasant and good experience! My teeth are saying thank you as well as myself! They both put me at ease where sitting in that seat with drills going full blast can be so daunting, they both put me at ease and I trusted them both as they showed their expertise. They both educated me what was going on with my teeth, where I knew exactly what was going on which is so necessary for patients. They explained everything step by step. I will and already have, be recommending my family and friends to come to this dental office! Dental hygienist Irina was the best with deep cleaning and I highly recommend her as well! My co worker recommended her to me and I will also have to agree and will be recommending Irina to my family and friends as well. Thank you for the great work you all do!!
I found my place!…..Dr. Kim is hands down amazing!! She explained thoroughly, answered my questions, was understanding of my anxiety, and just professional at every turn. To top it off, her assistant stepped away to manage another patient and Dr. Kim proceeded to complete my treatment on her own without missing a beat! I was extremely impressed and grateful for her knowledge and expertise. I felt no pain and she literally lifted my spirits by fixing a problem tooth I’ve had for decades! I am so grateful to her and this practice. The staff is professional, efficient, and just all around amazing! I recommend you give them a try!
I had a great first visit at Group Heath Dental 6 months ago. Because of that visit, I debated writing this review.
But during my latest visit for a cleaning, they took X-rays and I was told I had a cavity that needed to be filled.
I scheduled to return the following week to take care of it. When I returned, I was prepped with a numbing shot and the “filling” process began. Lots of drilling later, WHILE I’m in this very vulnerable position of being prodded and poked for 30 minutes, the doctor stops and tells me that I need a crown instead of a filling… I immediately begin to have a mini panic attack. I almost couldn’t even afford to get the filling, and I know a crown costs more. Even though I can barely speak, I manage to ask how much that costs and he sends the finance person in, who tells me it’s $1600. I manage to tell HIM I don’t HAVE $1600 for a tooth. He tells me I can do a payment plan. I manage to tell him That’s not in my budget!! And because my mouth is numb and bloody, I can’t even communicate properly. My mini panic attack goes full tilt, and suddenly I’m crying inconsolably with tools in my mouth. They have to stop the work. I feel like I’m being bamboozled WHILE in a vulnerable position. Imagine having a surgery and they cut you before reading the X-rays right.
They leave the room while I try to gather myself, and he returns and tells me he can do the filling but it may fall out at any time and to avoid chewing on that side. I let him do what I can afford to get done- a filling. The dental assistants were sympathetic, but that didn’t help much. I just wanted to get out of there asap. I head back to work.
And now, weeks later, I still feel nerves in my mouth and my whole left side is sensitive to warm, hot and cold. I feel so traumatized. So I decided to at least honor my truth and write this review instead of walking out, paying them, and still having to find another dentist I can trust to fix this.
professional, prompt and welcoming. Ive frequented this practice for almost 2 years and Ive never had a hiccup. Martina the treatment coordinator is especially helpful, the communication was precise and effective.
Really positive experience at Group Health Dental. A friend had recommended their practice and I was not disappointed. Lots of available appointments bc they have so much space. You get to pick list of amenities that will help make your experience calmer and have some new tech to really get a sense of whats going on in your mouth. Saw the dentist quickly as I was doing a cleaning so was mostly with hygienist and appreciated that someone came in with cost breakdown to cover any expenses insurance did not.
