Had my teeth whitened yesterday at Gentle Dental in Bayside. I am very happy with the results! 💯 The whole team was professional and friendly. They told me exactly what was going to happen during each step of teeth whitening. I will be going back soon for a cleaning. Thank you, Gentle Dental : )

I had a bad experience from start to finish. I filled out the paperwork sent in the link but when I got there they said they don’t have them. I came into the office at 9:45am and the girl at the front desk said she couldn’t find my appointment so I waited almost an hour to get seated. I specially made the appointment for a chipped tooth and stated that so many times on the call. The assistant was prob the only good part of the visit (Olaf I think). Dr Kogan came in and didn’t even ask me what was wrong or concerns, just jumped into an exam and didn’t even address the chip I came in for. When I told him, he did his exam again and automatically said I needed a veneer which is insane for a small chip. He was super dismissive and said “I don’t do patchwork” when I said I don’t want a veneer. He was giving money hungry idk. I have no insurance so I was open to paying whatever to fix my chipped tooth especially on a last minute appointment but the Dr beside manners sucked, I could tell even if he did do it it would’ve been a crappy job. I called to get my X-rays sent to me and they didn’t even have my email on file after having me do paperwork 2, like hello get it together. I went to a different office and definitely had a less invasive treatment plan given than the one he provided . Oh and the treatment planner has no personality, if you’re going to ask someone for their money atleast be more personable. Anyways, waste of my day off. Find yourself a better provider.

I had a great experience at Gentle Dental in Queens. The office is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The dentist was professional, explained everything clearly, and provided excellent care. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for quality dental services in Queens.

I had a great experience at Gentle Dental in Queens. The office was clean and spacious, no overcrowding. The staff was amazing. They were friendly, polite and professional. State of the art equipment was used to illustrate how goals can be achieved. They explained my issues in a clear way and they executed the procedure in a timely manner. I left feeling good about the experience and would recommend Gentle Dental to anyone.

I went here a few months ago and I was told I needed a deep cleaning in addition to a laser cleaning. I thought typical routine visits already consist of a cleaning in addition to the x-rays. Including some cavities, the x-rays, and the dental cleaning - which they only did one side for as I was expected to come back to do the second side, they maxed out my deductible and I had to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket. I was only able to do some of the services because it would have been so much money to do everything. The dental care was good and the staff is nice but their prices are insane. I thought my teeth were in such bad shape after this but I didn't feel comfortable because of how much they charged. So I went to another dentist who told me that I did not need a deep cleaning nor a laser cleaning. They said they usually prescribe it for patients with much worse teeth than mine. My gums being swollen was also an exaggeration as both the new dentist and hygienist both told me I don't have swollen gums to that extreme. They kept insisting consistent flossing at home and regular cleanings would suffice and any swelling would go away on its own - no need for laser cleaning. I felt so scammed talking to this new dentist about my experience here. This isn't a terrible dentist office but clearly they like to upcharge and oversell their patients so be wary before visiting.

I really want to give Gentle Dental 6 stars. Every aspect of my visit was absolutely perfect. The ladies at the front desk were very professional. They were also so sweet and friendly. My dentist and the assistant were so on point when it came to their duties. It made me feel so comfortable. This was my first time there and I would never think of going somewhere else. Thank you Gentle Dental.

I made an appointment at 4:00 and I received a confirmation message that clearly shows that the appointment was made for 4:00PM. When I called because I thought I might be a little late the receptionist told me my appointment was at 2:00 all of the sudden, so mentioned I made an appointment for 4:00 and even mentioned about the confirmation message that I received as a reminder that clearly shows it was 4:00. But the receptionist had an attitude and was RUDE. She said “your appointment was at two, so you can’t come in today, maybe YOU got a message from another place” with an attitude. No apologies no explanation just with an attitude. As if she doesn’t even give a dam for your tooth or anything. Honestly there are people there who are nice, but trust me you will meet someone who will give you an attitude. This wasn’t the first time I got an attitude. This time the receptionist, before was someone who was working there. I mean I’m trying to clean my teeth and get all my treatments done. But no way I’m going here anymore. I’m trying to go to a dentist not be receive attitude.

Go here if you want to waste 2 hours of your time listening to the staff, trying to upsell you deep cleaning and laser treatment. I declined and the "hygenist" barely did anything during routine cleaning. They also took more than necessary x-rays which exposes you to a lot more radiation.
