Dr G was very informative, knowledgeable and professional. She took the time to explain and listen to questions that were addressed. The staff are also very attentive and helpful
You will feel welcomed upon arrival and have questions prepared before your visit (I would definitely recommend that) and it is a safe space
I have been coming to this Focus Eye Care location since last year and feel very confident and comfortable with letting all the staff know my concerns. I would highly recommend this place
I am very happy I chose to go to focus eye care and that I chose dr. Neelofar Ghaznawi. I feel she was well knowledgeable. And the staff was great and pleasant, my only thing was the wait time. I waited over an hour after my appointment time before beeing seen by the doctor. But still please that I stayed to see her.
Dr. Ghaznawi is awesome, she made me feel so comfortable, I got poked in the eye with a rose bush branch, and when I tell you she was, the most gentle person, I even had to communicate with her after hours, yes it was the phone svc, but she called me back to help. Her assistant also awesome. My overall experience with this office was great, everyone was so very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this office for your eye needs.
The experience I had at Focus Eye Care and Surgery at the Elmhurst location was AMAZING! The professionalism and friendliness by the staff was a breath of fresh air. And Dr. Beatrice Whittaker was just what you want from a doctor which is pleasant and thorough. Ive never experienced such high tech machines or an eye exam. You just can't be beat this experience. I recommend EVERYONE to vist this office. I was THOROUGHLY satisfied.

I am very impressed with Dr. Neelofar Ghaznawiat the Queens Blvd, Elmhurst office. She discovered a serious issue that other doctors missed. She is exceptional. The office experience, however, is very disturbing. It seems that there are no fewer than 6 people with the same appointment. The wait is unbearable at 1.5-2 hours. The technicians call from the back of the office as if we were waiting in the emergency room or a free clinic. I normally take the first appointment but I am not sure if that is even a factor. I pay extra for a specialist and this doesn’t seem special
I read many reviews of other eye care places before coming here, and a lot of people mentioned having to wait 1-2 hours past their appointment time. That was not our experience at all with Focus Eye Surgery. We were called in very quickly and treated with great care and respect.
Dr. Whittaker was extremely kind and professional.
She explained everything in very simple terms and took the time to make sure we understood, which we really appreciated. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming throughout the visit.

I just had YAG laser done by Dr. Ghaznawi, my vision is perfect after! I am very pleased with her service here at FOCUS eye care. I already referred 3 of my friends here and they are also more than pleased with their experience! I am so glad I have chosen her as my doctor!
I was looking for an opthalmologist through Zocdoc and saw Dr. Lee was recommended. I went to look it up on Google and booked it through their website. As soon as I booked an appointment they will call you to confirm. The front was nice and friendly. The office was a little packed but I kind of expected that considering their location and the reviews. The office was clean and organized. I was already given a heads up that the appointment may take some time. Depending on what you came for but my whole appointment took 1 hr and 30 mins. Dr. Lee was very thorough and helpful. And if you have any questions, she will definitely take time to answer it. I will definitely be back.
