Dignity Hospital provided excellent care to me. I had to have a medical procedure done and I’m glad that I had it done here because from the beginning pre-op registration was kind, professionally organized. Then prior to the procedure they sent me a patient packet and had an nurse call me explaining the whole process which was a relief because I had several questions and a majority of them were answered which put me at ease. The day of the procedure parking was provided by the hospital and validated ❤️ Registration was fast and efficient. The nurses were excellent and thorough. The whole surgery team was so kind to me along with the anesthesiologist and the Surgeon. Post op was excellent as well making sure I was in no pain. I would highly recommend Dignity Hospital to family, friends, co workers and all persons needing an excellent Hospital 💯
I walked in with an agonizing headache. The admission nurses were just amazing! They took such great care of me. I remember one of the nurses name was Eric. He was just so great! Got me water because I was extremely thirsty and had just such a great positive attitude! They all did! I don't remember the names of everyone who saw me but I remember their faces and I just want to thank them so much! All are so professional. They just made me feel so much better and was back home sooner than I had anticipated. Overall, it was a great visit for being in the E.R. on a Sunday evening and the wait time wasn't long at all! I'm so greatful 🙏
I had my first infusion at Leavey Cancer Center at Northridge Hospital about a week ago, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The level of care, professionalism, and compassion I received was truly exceptional.
During my treatment, I experienced an infusion reaction, and the nursing staff responded immediately with expertise, calmness, and genuine concern. My nurse remained by my side throughout the entire situation and continued to monitor me closely until I was ready to leave. Her attentiveness and dedication made me feel safe, supported, and well cared for.
What stood out most was the kindness shown by the entire team. They made sure I was comfortable, provided food, and encouraged me to rest as long as needed before heading home. In a situation that could have been frightening, they turned it into an experience that left me feeling reassured and grateful.
Thank you to the outstanding staff at Leavey Cancer Center for providing such knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient-centered care. It is clear that your team is committed not only to treating patients but also to supporting them through every step of their journey.
I was at the hospital from 6PM- 2AM so I experienced two totally different staffs with a shift change. The front lobby on both shifts were relatively rude, and completely neglectful to a homeless man that claimed to have broken ribs from getting jumped. They ignored him completely except for putting him in a wheelchair and wheeling him into the far corner of the lobby. All of my experiences with the technicians doing tests in the back were great. The woman who did my Ultrasound was awesome and the man that did my CT scan was fantastic as well. both excellent and professional. 5/5 for both of them. The woman who drew my blood was also great, 5/5. The up front staff including the nurses were rude, blatantly ignoring people’s needs and constantly sending personal messages on their phones. I was basically in the lobby from 6PM-2AM so I had plenty of time to observe all of this
I had problems with the ER experience and have had subsequent conversations with administrative and medical staff in that regard that I hope will benefit future patients. After being admitted, my experience was excellent. My nurses, Rachell and Kaitlyn, were very caring and professional. Very impressive. I received great information from doctors just prior to discharge and Discharge paperwork was very helpful.
I made a 911 call had an ambulance at my door in less than 5 minutes and took me to Northridge Hospital as it was the only Hospital that I haven't been to Prior. They drop me immediately to have a CT scan and found me in such bad shape that they put me in for immediate surgery 1 hour later. I had a hernia that exploded inside of me and caused me a host of other problems and was told that if I didn't come when I did I most likely would not have made it. I could go on and on and mention every single person that took care of me but I'll spare you the details and let you know that hands down Northridge Hospital is the finest facility I have ever ever been to. They kept me for 4 1/2 days and at one point I thought I had passed and I was in some type of purgatory awaiting to enter heaven. It was so good I can't even find the right works. Every single person on level 5 G and even outside that we're so caring and made me feel like I was a National Treasure. They gave me around the clock treatments and care checking my blood my glucose levels making sure that I had the right fluids going into my body and so on and everyone did their job above and beyond whatever could be expected from anyone in any business. I truly believe this Hospital is filled with angels of God and couldn't have done a better job making me feel comfortable and showing me how things should be for everyone. I'm in the process of writing two very in-depth letters to the hospital and the staff which will probably somewhere posted for everyone to see. I'm a 61 year old man and simply put it just doesn't get better than what I experienced. Thank you for saving my life to the entire staff of that hospital and giving me more time to live and hopefully see some grandchildren out of my children. Love and God bless to everyone no matter what your religion is and I wish you the best life has to offer you and get to experience somewhere in your life what I did. It was life-changing for me
I came in for dizziness, lightheaded, high blood pressure 203/147..they had me wait about 50 minutes, started with CT scan, xray then blood and ekg. Then i waited about 1.5 hours for results. In the waiting room. Called me in to tell me the tests were all normal and it was stress. You can go home.. so I left the same way I came in. Still having same symptoms and high blood pressure, though not as high. Later to find out my tests weren't all normal. There were calcifications on my brain. Now i have to wait to see my primary care for more testing.. very unsatisfied with the organization and physicians bed manner. Wouldn't recommend this ER..
It was my first stay at Northridge Hospital. I have stayed at a couple other hospitals over the years. Northridge exceeded my expectations. The nurses, Hema, Anna, Maria, Allen, Sonia, Bita and Balgit on the 5th floor were responsive, friendly, professional and comforting. Jeremy Zoch, whom is President of the hospital visited my room twice in 5 days. The hospital is incredibly clean and seems to be very well run.
The transporters who would wheel me to the Dialysis unit were amazing. Everyone introduced themselves and explained who they were and the next steps.
The dialysis unit is top notch. I’ll admit, I have never been to another Dialysis Unit, but everyone from Antonio “The Professor”, Melanie “Lanie”, Marvin, Melissa, Miguel and their supervisor, Tiffany is amazing. They go above and beyond to make patients feel comfortable. Antonio knows his stuff and is leading the others with ease and expertise! Just overall great experience.
