I had the most amazing experience at Della Russo
I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. It truly is a life-changing surgery.
I have been wearing glasses since I'm 8 years old I'm now 51

From the minute of my consultation I felt comfortable there and I knew I was in good hands. The day of the surgery I was so nervous and again for no reason. The staff put me at ease. And today on my post-op appointment one week later they said I am doing amazing. And that I have 20/20 vision I never thought that would ever be possible.

Amazing experience with Dr. Dello Russo and the entire team. Everyone was smiling, patient, kind, and worked together so well—it immediately made me feel comfortable. They explained everything clearly and thoroughly, which I really appreciated. The office has such a great, positive vibe, and every person I interacted with was wonderful.
Dr. Dello Russo did an amazing job. I didn’t get to properly thank him at the time (no glasses before surgery and a bit foggy after), but now, a few days later, I’m seeing so well. I truly wish I could thank him again. Highly recommend this practice to anyone.
Their parking lot was full so I had to park on the street and had a 2-hour time limit. The receptionist did not look up from her computer monitor while she was speaking to me, merely held her hand up to take my documents, then return them. I asked a question that was within her purview, only to be spoken to rudely as though my question was unreasonable. I waited for 40 minutes before a technician took me for scans. Two scans took 7 minutes and then I was back waiting. Another 40 minutes had passed and I was seriously considering leaving when the doctor arrived.
I'm glad I got to meet him. Dr. Lilien spent plenty of time with me explaining the findings of the scans that were done and making sure that all my questions were answered. He listened and gave great feedback. I will be see him again, though I will try to see him at another office. Bergenfield's staff didn't provide the same superb service that Dr. Lilien did. Hopefully, staff will be more professional and wait times won't be so long at another location.
Dr. Dello Russo and his team provide an exceptional level of care and professionalism. The staff is not only knowledgeable but also incredibly courteous, making every visit a pleasant experience. Their optical supplies are top-quality, and they ensured my glasses were the perfect fit and in stock. I had a truly great experience and will be bringing my whole family here. I would confidently recommend them to friends, as their years of expertise and dedication are evident with each visit.
Staff and doctors are amazing. Life changing experience. The doctors are personable, professional, and incredible. Not to mention I can see!! I truly cannot even express the gratitude I have for Dello Russo. They came highly recommended and now I will be recommending. Thank you to all at Dello Russo ❤️ you are true Angels on earth.
Have an amazing experience with Dr Dellorusso laser vision. All my family were a patients with Dr Dellorusso. He did miracles work on my eyes the best in business. Highest quality and best friendly people working with the Doctor Jeffrey Dellorusso
The procedure worked great, however the pain I experienced shortly after was as if a hornet had stung both eyes. Intense pain lasted about a week with over the counter painkillers doing very little to ease the pain.
Not to mention the staff was rude with one yappy Spanish woman in particular calling me autistic for skimming through some papers she was handing me instead of answering her lousy questions which were completely irrelevant to the procedure itself.
Glad my vision improved but I would NEVER recommend anyone go here for LASIK, search elsewhere if you don’t want to spend several nights writhing in pain along with $4000 out of your pocket.
Just spoke to Lydia I believe. I'm an eye doctor as well and was calling for preop records for a mutual patient. Terrible experience when I said the LASIK procedure was done 30 years ago. A lot of condescension as she stated by law we only need to keep the records for 7 years. I didn't bother engaging but the law does not say max 7 years. The law says physicians must retain adult patient records for ATLEAST 7 years from the date of the most recent entry. I wonder how they treat patients if that's how they treat others in the same health profession.
