If I can leave ZERO STARS I would. All Medical Assistants on duty today were actually very professional & empathetic. It’s the twerp they have for a “provider” by the name of Danyl Fakhrutdinov that was so disgusting. Waiting two hours in an exam room for a physical examination that took less than two minutes is unacceptable.After sitting in the room with no explanation or updates regarding the delay, I approached the Physician Assistant and asked whether I was going to be seen. His response was, "I can do it now or you can go."
What was most disappointing was not the wait itself, but the complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and accountability. There was no apology for the excessive delay, no explanation, and no acknowledgment that a patient's time has value.
Healthcare providers are busy, and delays happen. However, patients deserve basic courtesy, communication, and respect. Unfortunately, my experience reflected none of those qualities. I filed a complaint against him to the Physician Assistant Board of California & will file a report with the Better Business Bureau as well.
I hope this office reviews how patients are treated and recognizes that professionalism extends beyond medical care—it includes how people are spoken to and respected throughout their vis
First off let me just say that I LOATHE negative reviews, but sometimes they’re necessary. This place seems very disorganized and like their left hand doesn’t know what its right hand is doing.
I arrived at about 8pm May 18 (it being 11:41am May 19th and I got here at 10am) and the lobby was virtually empty. All I needed was 3 vaccine boosters for a new job. I get all checked in and fill out my documents via that text they send you. After waiting about 30 mins a lady comes out and tells me that they cant see me, because I need to be observed after my vaccines for fifteen mins and the Dr wasn’t up to it. Which if you look at my photo the email they send me gave the hours and I adhered to that. Here I am now after waiting forever, I get my shots and they sent me on my way. No observation done whatsoever. People don’t deserve to have their time wasted. These shots could have been done the first time and they simply chose not to. The Concentra in Burbank however, is amazing! I’ll go there moving forward.
My work requires I be tested for TB annually. My employer contracts with Concentra for these tests, and that's great b/c (1) I don't have to go out of my way to make extra appointments with my doctor who is often booked, and (2) Concentra makes it very easy. Fill out a profile doc online, show up with your work authorization form, sign in, get pricked, come back in a couple days so they can look at it, they email your employer, you're good to go. I use the one on 8th St. in Los Angeles & the staff are all kind and efficient. I wish I never had to use their services, but since I do, I'm glad these are the folks I interact with to fulfill this job requirement.
I went into work at 4;30 p.m. which is the time my shift starts. My work does random testing and I was picked.Due to heavy traffic in the area I arrived right before 5. I was told immediately to wait and that I'd be a long wait due to me being there after hours and a very short staff that day. I was there for about an hour. The attendant just seemed tired and annoyed. It's ok I just waited expecting a 2 hour wait. There is a snack machine so it wasn't so bad. I was helped after 1 hour and parking was free. The lady who took my sample was nice. The attendant kept re iterating that we were there after hours so that it would be slower than during business hours. They were also short staffed.
My visit to Concentra (near downtown Los Angeles) a few days ago was calmy, politely, and quickly handled --regardless of the high number of clients/patients present at the time. ...I visited the same Concentra clinic a few years earlier...and the qualitative level of service WAS EXACTLY THE SAME.🙂
My pre-employment urine analysis was completed within 20 minutes of my arrival. I had a positive interaction with each employee I encountered. Thank you for a seamless experience, Concentra!
No eye contact. No smile. No greeting. No small talk. NO THANKS!
Part 2 of my TB test was at this Concentra just west of DTLA. The parking structure is underneath the building and in its entrance is on the east side. No elevator or stairs up. You have to go up the ramp you take down into the structure. Kinda creepy.
I almost walked into the ACLU office lol. The Concentra office is drab and quiet. One staff was behind the counter. I was waiting by a sign that says wait here. Instead of coming to where the sign told me to stand, the staff told me to go over to her. Ok.
As the beginning of this review states - no customer service or anything resembling it. Ok. The staff had these two black lip rings. I guess they could scare an abuelita or something. Ok. I let the staff know what I came for and she asked for my phone. Then she disappeared into her office and came back with a few reams of paper. I heard one of them smack loudly against the counter. Ok.
I didn’t really wait too long. That’s a plus. Everyone else was waiting around in the lobby. I got my paper and left as quickly as possible.
They don’t have a ton of people in line or anything like that. It was around 11 am so I’m guessing it’s a good place to get your business done fast. Still. Smiles go a long way. We’re all in it together and the next few years are going to be very, very dark. Ugh.
The staff at the Beverly Hills Concentra told me that if you get here early enough you can park free and she was right.
I fell at work and they told me to go to concentra to follow up and I did. I fell on both knees and doctor only took X-rays of one even though i told him both hurt and the pain goes down to my ankles he just said that he doesn't think I fractured any bones even though I had pain. I asked for an MRI also especially since I'm diabetic type 1 and he didn't bother on responding. He told me to continue physical therapy. My PT doctor said to ask my doctor for my ankle injury because he can't work on it if the doctor didn't put it in the system. This place really sucks when doctors aren't consistent and no communication is there. It's a doctor work if ethics to make sure the patient is seen and taken well care of. 🙄
