I had such a great experience at this location. The space was incredibly clean and welcoming, which made me feel comfortable right away. The medical assistant who checked me in was so friendly and kind—it really set the tone for my visit. The doctors were professional and easy to talk to, and the technician who did my X-ray was not only skilled but also very personable and chatty, which helped me feel at ease.
Nolan—oh my goodness—everything about the experience was just excellent. I genuinely enjoyed my visit and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for quality care. I loved it!
This was our first time needing to visit an urgent care in New York, and CityMD truly lightened what could have been a stressful experience from the moment we arrived. The receptionist was incredibly kind and welcoming, which immediately put us at ease. The doctor and assistant were both highly professional, attentive, and caring throughout our visit.
The facility itself is clean, organized, and very welcoming, and we were especially impressed by the minimal waiting time. Overall, it was a smooth and reassuring experience.
We highly recommend this location to anyone in need of urgent care services. Thank you for your excellent care!
This is the best location you can visit. It's well equipped, staff is kind and friendly, doctors are knowledgeable, respectful and handles matters in excellent time. I fractured my toe and they did the x-rays right on the premises. Had I gone to the emergency at a regular hospital I would have been there for at least 4 hrs.
My first experience at Lynbrook CityMD was very good. I took my 92 year old mother there due to her having leg pain. Check in was easy, wait time was short and staff was professional and friendly. Medical staff was receptive to my mom's concern and addressed it accordingly.
I was surprised how fast they called me in when I did a walk-in appointment but I quickly realized why it wasn’t busy. Dr. Gampel was incredibly rude, dismissive, and spoke in a condescending manner. My visit was only a few minutes long and somehow managed to be one of the most uncomfortable physician encounters I’ve ever had. I tried to confirm my prescription with the MA afterwards and was also met with an attitude. However, the front desk staff was kind and helpful. Overall, I would never go back to this location.
The whole experience was absolutely fantastic. I was greeted at the reception and went through the process of logging in. I didn't have to wait more than 2 minutes and was called inside. The doctor was also very experienced and nice. I highly recommend City MD.
I went to CityMD Lynbrook Urgent Care on March 28th for chest congestion, specifically choosing this location because I’ve had good experiences with CityMD in the past.
To be fair, the front desk staff and triage team were excellent—friendly, efficient, and professional.
Unfortunately, everything went downhill once I saw the doctor, Fitzgerald Elscidor. The visit lasted no more than 4 minutes. My symptoms were barely acknowledged, and I was quickly told that I was “fine” without any real evaluation. Then I was told to wait 3–4 more hours for medical attention—which completely defeats the purpose of going to urgent care. This is SO SAD because the previous doctors I’ve encountered at this location were amazing and informative. This one couldn’t come close in comparison.
I left feeling dismissed, frustrated, and honestly worse than when I walked in. When you go to urgent care, you expect to be heard and properly assessed, not rushed out the door. This is not the standard of care I’ve experienced in this area, which makes this situation even more disappointing and ultimately diminishes the overall quality of service one would expect here.
Based on this experience, I will NEVER return to this location.
I went in for a brief visit for a physical and things went so smoothly I had to just come on and say much thanks and appreciation to the staff. Katrina at the front desk greeted me with the best smile and great kindness, as I waited I saw her interact with other pcts walking in and she gave them the same experience. I even left with a big smile! Thank you guys!
