I have been a patient with Dr. Bobby Buka's practice for a decade and decided to try this location today. I had an afternoon appointment and arrived early.
The front desk receptionist, Alyssa, was friendly and thorough in checking me in and updating my information.
I then saw Kelly Shi and her assistant for a full body exam and asked 3 years worth of questions about my concerns and potential products to try. All of my questions were answered and both ladies were kind and patient with me through the whole process.
The office was very clean, well organized, and the interior design retains its very unique design choices thorough the space.
I'll be going back for a follow-up in a few weeks and I definitely recommend this location to anyone looking to have a great experience with their dermatologist.
My experience was excellent from start to finish. As a first-time patient, the sign-in process was smooth, simple, and welcoming.
Meeting the doctor was the highlight of the visit. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly and even broke down the science behind what’s happening with my skin in a way that was easy to understand. I never felt rushed, and all of my questions were answered clearly.
The staff was professional, and the overall experience made me feel confident about my treatment plan. I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring dermatologist. Overall, a five-star experience.
I came here with a homehealthcare patient. He was cery please we got here early they opened at 8:30 but the appointment was 9:15 ameveryone was here by 9am. We got to see the assistant and doctor and he addressed the problem quickly. Assessed the area and we got a prescription. My patient hates waiting and unpleasant staff. But we didnt have that problem here. No one looked like they were still tired we have helped as a first time patient with the registration process. Oh yeah and I found them on Zocdoc. The place is nice so modern reminds me of the doctors office in manhattan. They took time picking out the material for this even the bathroom is pleasant lol. Before you come in Dunkin donuts is across the street with a pizza hut and Nathans also insides. This is a shopping area so they have gym on the right side across the other street and a rainbow's clothing store and uniform store. Many stores. Theres a pharmacy across the street but not sure what time it opens.
had a great experience with my dermatologist. They were very kind, patient and made me feel comfortable during my first time visit. I was struggling with back acne, and they really took the time to understand my situation and explain the treatment clearly.
This has been the most hospitable and professional experience I have ever encountered. Making an appointment at a different location with a different practitioner was so simple! The appointment was scheduled quickly. The practice administrator at the Parckchester location was helpful with my intake process and was very speedy.
I saw Karen Akuffo PA-C, for the new appointment. I cannot thank her enough! she took her time, was very knowledgeable, friendly and who relayed the information fully and made sure I understood and what my options were.
Her bedside manner was more than I expected, she displayed empathy and compassion. I am happy to see her again for follow up.

Extremely disappointed at the lack of transparency demonstrated by this office. When going in for visits in 2023, I was assured specific treatment was completely covered by my insurance, only to get a notice from a debt collector three years later. My previous review on this matter was deleted as well as zero calls or communication from the billing department as to why false information was given and zero clarification provided. I would not have agreed to the services offered if they were not covered by insurance, nor was I given any notice that the balance was going to be transferred to me with an explanation. I am well aware of my benefits with no deductible or OOP due to the high premium I pay, so being billed for something that this office was negligent in checking before offering is ridiculous, as well as zero communication and the cover-up by this office.
I decided to go here because of the convenient location,and not only was that a bonus,but the service was completely on point! I came in as a walk through gave my information to the receptionist,filled out the usual paperwork, and it was only a 20 minute wait! The dermatologist was friendly and relatable, and after diagnosing my issue,and providing the necessary prescription. I was able to be on my way! All around it was a great experience, and if necessary, I'd definitely return ,and I would recommend!
