Dr Trevor Young is amazing and he listens to his patients. Even called to check on me after my procedure to see how everything was going. Was quick to change my medication when it didn’t coincide with my other medication. Communication was definitely quick and efficient. I would recommend him to my family and friends.

I went to the dermatologist specialist on Steinway Street and honestly the whole vibe was off from the second I walked in. They don’t use any paper forms at all, which sounds convenient, but very odd. instead it turned into this endless process of signing what felt like millions of forms on my phone. Page after page, signature after signature — it literally took forever. And even though I had my insurance, I see another form for credit card ! Something I never went through at any doctors office, which immediately felt strange and uncomfortable. They said to skip that tho. 🙄 Once I finally got called in, the appointment was honestly useless. I went in because I’ve been dealing with a skin rash problem since I was a kid, and not a single test was done. No real investigation, no effort to figure out what was going on — nothing. It felt like they just wanted to rush me in and out said I need an allergist which I already went to! They have Not even done a blood work, no skin scraping or skin culture. Not even froze my foot corn. Like what do they do then? Like seriously no basic skin check! I didn’t come in to chat lol On top of that, I also mentioned that I had a corn on my foot. I’ve had it frozen off at other dermatology offices before several times in the past. with no problem. But here? They told me I’d have to go see a foot doctor for that. So basically, they offered me zero solutions for anything I came in for. Honestly they felt lost. Then they say sth about psoriasis which the we can’t say what is it Overall, the experience was weird useless visit, impersonal, and honestly a waste of time and energy. Between the endless digital forms, giving my credit card even with insurance, and walking out with absolutely nothing done — I would NOT recommend this place. They are zero help & knowledge. Very surprised

You are forced to put a card on file for them to charge at their leisure after insurance has been billed. if you don't you can put a $100 deposit plus your copay or the appointment is cancelled. You cannot connect with the office you went to as their phone line is for all locations. My calls were being answered by staff in Delaware. The reception staff who answered led me to believe the PA Ramona lied to me about sending my sample to the lab. That she did it for show to make me feel better. They were to send a message for her to call me. My second call - there was a note about a sample being taken but no record of it being sent to a lab; and no notes about my first call. Third call was answered by the lead receptionist at the Bronx office who now says it was sent to the lab, but results take 1 to 2 weeks. I honestly was about to report the PA to the State Board for misconduct because I can't get a straight answer on if she did what she said she would. I mean has anyone else felt a provider here lied to them about this?

I had tried another provider but had to wait a month for an appointment with a Dr. not a PA, although I have no issues with PA’s as my daughter is one. I just knew my needs were going to require a bit of surgery. Dr. Young was excellent and very astute and I will be going back in a month for the procedure. He’s outstanding. I am very impressed.

I’ve been going here for a couple of years now and I always feel welcome. Dr. Mariam Nik has been my doctor the past few months and is always professional, kind, informative and again welcoming. The front desk and assistants also deserve a shoutout because they are professional as well. Thank you everyone for being amazing. I also appreciate the Fresh Prince usually playing on tv 😂

My daughter’s father brought our 9-year-old to this office for a skin pigmentation concern she has had since birth. After being seen by the PA and paying our copay, he called me with a diagnosis of keratosis pilaris — a condition characterized by raised, rough bumps on the skin. My daughter has no bumps, no redness, no texture changes whatsoever — only pigmentation. The diagnosis did not align with her presentation at all. I came to the office immediately with questions about the diagnosis and to request a brief conversation with either the PA or the supervising physician. There were only two other patients in the office at the time, and I was told the supervising doctor was present but not seeing patients for the rest of the day. After two trips to the front desk, I was told the PA was also unavailable and that we would need to book — and pay for — a separate reevaluation appointment to discuss the diagnosis we had just received. I was not asking for a new appointment. I was asking for two minutes of clarification on a diagnosis made for a child. That request was denied. I understand offices get busy. What I don’t understand is the unwillingness to take a moment to address a concerned parent’s questions about their child’s care — especially when we had just been seen and just paid. The lack of follow-through and the suggestion to simply book and pay again left me feeling that patient care was not the priority here. I would not return to this location and would caution parents in particular to be aware of this experience before choosing this office for their children.

The Pa , assistant front desk were all very lovely and helpful. Only thing is I made appointment with one pa and another showed up. As this was my first appointment I didn't haven't a prior relationship, but the change in providers would have been a nice courtesy at some point. Thank you,.Ilana

My experience was great. Walked in with a skin issue, checking in was easy and fast. I saw Anmol Sharma and she was wonderful. She took her time explaining my condition, treatments and what I needed to do at home. The office is clean, smells good (not medicinal just very pleasant and soothing) the staff was great from the front desk to the medical assistant. I actually work at a healthcare facility in the area and always refer patients here for any dermatological concerns.
