Friendly and efficient greeting by the staff at the desk. Medical assistant was very cordial and knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. Dr Herold is great at explaining what he diagnoses and what the best treatment options. He is always willing to take time to make sure he has answered all your concerns and what the treatment plan is. Great visit. Highly recommend !!!
I want to highlight how amazing the medical assistant was during my daughter’s visit. She was super kind, humble, and very attentive. She took her time, showed so much patience, and made my daughter feel comfortable and cared for. It truly made a difference in our experience.
Dr. Blegen is such a sweet and compassionate doctor. She made my daughter feel heard, but also informed, on her decision for moving forward on procedure that would/could result in potential scaring. Dr Blegen did amazing work! My daughter will have barely any scaring after her procedure and I know it’s due to the professional and outstanding knowledge Dr Blegen. She knows her stuff!
Texas Dermatology is a superb dermatology clinic! Since my initial visit to my most recent one, I am super impressed by the friendliness, efficiency and high-level professionalism of everyone I’ve met. I was seen by Dr.Blegen for multiple Pilaris cysts on my scalp, and just had one of them surgically removed. Her bedside manner as well as her nurses is nothing short of wonderful. They are knowledgeable, kind and compassionate.
Had to call for with questions on my post-surgical care, and was taken care of immediately. Doesn’t matter who you meet, whether it’s the receptionist, the nurses, billing staff or the doctor, they are consistent in the level of care to their patients. If you’re in search of a great dermatology doctor, can’t recommend enough Dr. Blegen at TX Dermatology. They have more than one office, I have been attending the one at Oakwell Court, near Harry Wurzbach Rd. Highly recommended!!
2nd Part—Post-Surgery
So after two weeks had to go back to the clinic to have sutures removed. Again, not enough words to express how impressed I am with this clinic! I was a bit scared thinking it was going to hurt a bit.
I was met by Nurse Jennifer, and she was so attentive. She kept me conversing and in less than 5 minutes all 4 sutures were removed! And I didn’t feel a thing! Everyone from the moment you arrive until you depart is super nice, kind and professional. For sure I will be returning to have the rest of my cysts removed.
Dr. Browning is an exceptional dermatologist who truly cares about his patients. Every visit, I feel comfortable and at ease discussing my concerns with him. He takes the time to listen, explains everything clearly, and provides thoughtful advice along with the right treatments to help improve my condition. His professionalism, knowledge, and genuine compassion make a big difference. I always leave feeling confident and well cared for. I highly recommend Dr. Browning to anyone looking for a skilled and attentive dermatologist.
Texas Dermatology has such a well-run clinic from their doctors to their nurses to the receptionists. Booking appointments is pleasant, the waiting room is comfortable and the care the doctors take in meeting patient needs is superb! Everyone I encountered on my recent visit was polite and professional.
Been going here for years but there’s a new AI scheduler who tries to schedule you more than two weeks out. And when you ask for a live person because it’s a serious matter, it puts you in a hold loop where a voice comes on every 15 seconds and then when they put the hold music back on it starts over again and repeats the same 8 measures of computer generated music you heard before, every time. Over and over every few seconds. It’s the most annoying thing I’ve ever heard. I used to see Dr Browning but as they have grown it hasn’t been a good experience for me. Finally hung up after 5 minutes. Having AI be the first interaction with people just seems so impersonal in this helping people with problems business.
We saw Dr Herold and the visit was productive. We had taken our adult disabled daughter to 2 different Urgent Care facilities and saw PA's due to not being able to get into her PCP.
She was treated for "Impetigo" and then "Allergic" reaction. The rash persisted.
Dr Herold was pleasant, inclusive with our daughter, and efficient.
Very happy with the care received.
